Re laying a bit of history 🧱

These original Accrington bricks would cost around Β£1.50 each from a reclamation yard today, roughly 50% more than a newly manufactured brick.

Why are they so valuable?

Obviously because they were made in Lancashire! πŸ™Œ

More importantly, reusing them means it’s fits in with the other buildings as it should.

There’s brick… and then there’s π€πœπœπ«π’π§π π­π¨π§ brick. 🧱

We’re rebuilding this external skin using the originals, cleaning them up and putting them back where they belong.

They really don’t make them like this anymore.

Old school materials. Proper craftsmanship. Built to last. πŸ‘Œ

And just like 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 the internal wall has been removed the site has been cleaned and we are installing the Structural beam.

Always thinking about the end result then making sure the necessary steps are carried out to achieve the best possible outcome πŸ’ͺ

Jet lag really got the better of me this time, I’m not often late for work, but today i was πŸ™ƒ

I went to bed at 8pm and woke up at 8:15am 🫣 on the day we were starting a new project.

But i’ve got a solid team, they were in early and made a great start, here we’re altering the internal layout to form a new open plan kitchen diner.

Fully managed by us, so keep an eye out for the content updates πŸ‘€
