One of the lads has stacked the truck and got SBR everywhere 😂

A few of you have asked how I stack it, so here’s a quick look at my setup. Just another bit of plastering life in a work truck!

A little update on the Ranger…

After the wet belt went at just 19,000 miles, she’s finally been repaired, cleaned up and put back on the road.

It’s been a stressful and expensive one, but she’s looking fresh again and ready to get back to work.

What a saga that was! 🚙

A few people took the 50kg plasterers challenge very seriously 😂 So here’s 50kg on a barbell instead. It was only meant to be a bit of fun, lads. No need for the nasty comments. Have a laugh and don’t take life too seriously. Hope everyone has a good evening 👊

Quick look around today’s job, then giving the tools a clean.

Trying EradiCRETE on the plaster build up today. Foam on, leave it to work, then brush and rinse. Let’s see how these come up.

Part 1 of the microcement floor 👊

The floor was primed beforehand, then today we got both base coats on. The base coats build up the surface and give us a solid base for the finish.

Top coat goes on tomorrow in part 2. Keep an eye out for the finished look 👀

Not plastering related, but I just wanted to share this one. This is Tidge, my best mate. Eight years together, from that tiny pup to the big lad beside me now. Wouldn’t swap him for the world. Love you, Tidge ❤️

Full extension drylined and skimmed in three days. The lads have grafted their backsides off to get it boxed off, and I’m genuinely grateful to have a solid team around me. There are plenty of letdowns in this industry, so having people who turn up and get stuck in means a lot.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
