🔥 POWERFLUSHING – GET YOUR HEATING SYSTEM WORKING PROPERLY AGAIN! 🔥
Over time, central heating systems can build up sludge, debris and magnetite, which can leave radiators cold at the bottom, cause poor circulation, noisy heating and put extra strain on your boiler.
This week I’ve been out with the Kamco powerflushing equipment and MagnaCleanse, giving heating systems a proper clean and helping get them back performing as they should. 💪

🔥 It’s Gas Safety Week! 🔥
We’re usually busy keeping your heating and hot water running, but this week is a good reminder of something even more important — keeping your home safe.
Gas appliances are something we use every day without really thinking about them. Your boiler gets you up on a cold morning, your cooker gets dinner on the table… but like anything else, they need a little care and attention. ❤️
So, a few little reminders from us at 26:9:
👨‍🔧 Make sure your boiler and gas appliances are regularly serviced
🚨 Check your carbon monoxide alarm is working
🏠 Keep an eye out for anything that doesn’t seem quite right
✅ And always use a Gas Safe registered engineer for gas work

Just a quick post following on from the announcement of James’ departure from 26:9.
First of all, I want to wish James and his family all the very best on their next great adventure. Wherever their journey takes them I can’t wait to see what they get up to next.
I know I’ve been a little quiet over the last week, and I’d like to apologise for that. I’ve been busy behind the scenes working on some very exciting new steps for the business.
As you may have seen, we’ve also undertaken a little rebrand. New chapters deserve a new look, and we hope you agree that it’s looking good!
I’m back in full swing this week and looking forward to getting you all booked in.
Most importantly, I want to say a huge thank you to all of you for your continued support. It genuinely means a lot, and I can’t wait to see you all soon as I take 26:9 forward into this next chapter.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that it’s time to close one chapter of my life and begin another.

As of 31st July 2026, I’ll be stepping away from 26:9 Gas & Heating Services Ltd.

This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. Watching this business grow from an idea into what it is today has been one of the proudest achievements of my life. From the early days, I poured everything I had into building it. There were countless early mornings, late nights, weekends and sacrifices, but seeing the business grow and earning the trust of so many amazing customers made every bit of it worthwhile.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting some fantastic people. Many of you have been with us from the very beginning, recommended us to your friends and family, and welcomed me into your homes time and time again. Your loyalty and support have meant more than you’ll ever know. You haven’t just supported a business—you’ve been a huge part of my journey.

I’d also like to thank everyone who has worked alongside me over the years. Every challenge, every success and every lesson has helped shape who I am, both personally and professionally.

Walking away from something you’ve invested so much of yourself in is never easy, but I know it’s the right time for a new challenge. I’ll still be doing what I love, just in a different way, and I’m excited for what’s to come. I’m not quite ready to share the details, but I promise I’ll let you all know soon.

Andy will be carrying on with 26:9 and wish him nothing but success for the future, and I sincerely hope the business continues to go from strength to strength.

Finally, thank you to every customer, friend, supplier and supporter who has been part of this journey. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

This isn’t goodbye—it’s simply the start of a new chapter.
