One of our regular maintenance customers had this under utilised corner of their paved seating/ BBQ area ........ it was awkward to have furniture, etc in so asked if we could source some large pots that could be planted up to go in the space...... our suggestion...... how about an L shaped planter made from recycled scaffolding boards ?........ we've worked with this customer for several years and she trusts our opinion..... go for it was her reply, so today the planter was built......some w**d membrane down once the planter was built to help stop soil creep and staining of the paving , bitumen paint on the inside to help with preservation of the timber, then some initial planting of clematis and a couple of interesting shrubs with more trailing plants to follow in a couple of weeks......the customer is absolutely delighted with the results.

A wee transformation for a new customer that we did before the madness that is maintenance time kicks in..... this area was a bit tired and emotional, so a new sleeper retainer was put in, rockery created and planted up and fresh decorative aggregate laid..... another very happy customer.
