I’m slowly getting back to normal this week after an amazing week in London at Goldsmiths’ Fair. This wee brooch got lots of attention!

My next big event this year is our annual Christmas Market and Open Studios at Deemouth Artist Studios which is Next Month!! (how can that actually be?!) If you’re in Aberdeen and are looking for somewhere to buy beautiful, thoughtful, handmade and locally made gifts, then this is the place to come!

For the weekend of 28th and 29th October, there will be over 50 makers and artists showing their work, and there will be refreshments and pizza!! What more could you want?! Check out the second slide for all the details 🎄🎄🎄

Goldsmiths’ Fair is over for another year. What an absolute joy it is to be a part of! Thanks to all of my gorgeous fellow exhibitors, all the wonderful visitors, and of course the brilliant team led by who make this all happen!

It’s really quite special to go to work in this amazing building for a week!

And just like that, we’ve reached the final day of Goldsmiths’ Fair! It’s been a wonderful week as always, catching up with lovely customers and meeting new ones. Thank you to everyone who came to support and chat and learn a bit more about my process and to view the new pieces in the collection.

I’m all packed up and ready for Goldsmiths’ Fair week two, next week! I’ll be showing lots of new pieces, including this wee silver and enamel brooch. I’m thrilled to be taking part again for my third year at the fair and looking forward to seeing all the lovely makers and visitors again!

For more than four decades, Goldsmiths’ Fair has brought together a selection of the UK’s best contemporary jewellers and silversmiths. This year’s 138 exhibitors work across disciplines and materials, each achieving distinct techniques and their own style with precious metals. The Fair gives visitors the opportunity to buy directly from makers and to discuss their skills, practices and inspirations, accompanied by a dedicated talks programme and exhibitions.

A spirit lifting, restful and rejuvenating weekend away last week. Lots of walking in the sun with my favourite girl, lots of good food and lots of art! Cup = full. ✨

Back to the studio proper next week, Goldsmiths' Fair - fine jewellery & contemporary silver is not very long away!

Some scenes from the studio today. I’m busy making new work for Goldsmiths' Fair - fine jewellery & contemporary silver where I’m delighted to be showing again in week two. Things are starting to come together after a slightly long development phase (or longer than I would have liked!), but that’s just the way creativity goes sometimes. Hopefully I’ll have some more finished pieces to share soon.

I’m delighted to be returning to Goldsmiths’ Fair this autumn. I’ll be in week two from the 29th September until the 4th of October. I have a busy summer ahead making lots of new pieces to take down to London!
