A fresh look for this house đź‘Ź

The old exterior had become heavily stained and patchy, so we repaired and re-rendered it with a crisp white textured finish. Quite a difference when you look back at the before photos!

Replacing this failed 100mm wood-fibre external wall insulation system with a new Baumit UK | EWI - Render - Plaster system, backed by a 10-year warranty.

The original insulation had begun to rot due to poor installation and inadequate protection around the openings. This time, new slate window sills, expanding sealing tape and silicone window beads have been installed around every opening, providing two layers of protection against wind-driven rain.

With around one-third of the heat in an uninsulated home escaping through the walls, properly installed external wall insulation can make a huge difference to warmth, energy efficiency and comfort — while completely transforming the exterior, colour code 0189. 🌱🏡
