Something different for us this week,

Installing some tornado metal post & wire for a new customer in Cornwall this week, There was a few teething problems to start with, however once we got our heads around them we didn’t think it was too bad to use.

It was also a good test for the new Sealey petrol post driver supplied by Southwest fixings. Seemed to do the job.

Been another week completed with another customer ticked off the list for their fencing needs

Big thankyou to E R P Groundworks & Landscaping for preparing the boundaries for fencing.

Even managed to get a hedge reduced & trimmed for a very loyal local customer.
Thanks to MTM Tree Works for managing to fit this into his very busy schedule

We will be needing our passports next week wish us luck 🫣🫣

In next few weeks we will be looking to add some additional members to our already small team, on a self employed/adhoc basis.

We undertake all aspects of fencing.

Successful applicants will need to be able to work in all weathers mainly rain going into the winter and also due to Certain location, I won’t lie. It will be harsh, conditions at time.

Ideally need to be…..

Physically fit
Good at time keeping
Have good attention to detail (not that will do)
Chainsaw tickets
ATV tickets
Telehandler ticket
Ability to get up early and have breakfast before your days work.
Able to use grease gun
Pressure washer
Happy to travel to jobs (over 1Hr at times)
Agricultural background due to the nature of the work.
Clean Full uk driving licence as you will be expected to drive to and from jobs,

We are happy to help anyone who is looking to obtain certain tickets for this role if they can prove that they have the correct attitude.

Some fencing or landscaping experience would be beneficial, although most basic tasks of this role can be taught as long as have a willingness and can do attitude.

We will be potentially looking to get a second machine if we feel we have the correct candidate, who is willing to use a Protech/Solotrak machine in busy periods.

Community spirit still alive 👌👍

We were able to offer a hand to a good friend Phil Slocombe, with banging posts in at chagford show ground. Having two machines doing this means everyone can enjoy their weekend with family.

Was nice to see chagford’s local community all coming together to get the showground organised for the special day.

We look forward to the show.

Not the usual couple days….

We were contacted with the scope of fencing some area’s at Dartmoor Zoo, we had a good look around the grounds of the zoo’s fencing and what was needed.
The Zebra 🦓 & Ostrich area was at the top of the list.

Being and animal lover it was an honour for myself to be asked to complete the work needed, who wouldn’t want the challenge fencing tigers, lions, zebras etc in.

I especially look forward to being asked back in the future for the next challenge they send our way.

Also a MASSIVE thank you to Ash Selway for recommending myself to the CEO much appreciated thank you
It seems our pride in our work hasn’t gone unnoticed

On the week of the 24th August we will have a couple loads (10x6 tipping trailer) of wood chip available

Will be a hedge to top so will be mainly chip with greenery amongst.

If you are in okehampton area or nr by, and this is something you can make use of please get in contact.
