August is becoming our “work on the business” month.

As a small business, it’s easy to spend every day working in the business, so this month we’re making a conscious effort to improve everything behind the scenes.

We’ve been updating our website, refining our social media, improving our customer journey, and we’ve now added a quick and easy way for customers to leave us a Google review directly from our invoices.

Recently, life has been full of change for us — moving house, gradually refreshing the Oakley Electrical branding, and getting ready for our son to start primary school in September.

While plenty is changing behind the scenes, the important things remain exactly the same.

We are still committed to providing reliable, professional electrical services, keeping customers informed, turning up when we say we will, and completing every job with the same care and attention.

Our day-to-day service, standards and personal approach remain at the heart of Oakley Electrical — just with a few exciting changes taking place around us.

What started life as one mirror light has been transformed into two separate wall lights, ready for a new mirror to be installed in the centre.

A great way to modernise the space, improve the lighting, and create a much smarter overall finish. Small changes like this can make a huge difference.

We had a fantastic day at the Dingley Races yesterday, proud to be there as sponsors.

It was great to see such a strong turnout, a brilliant atmosphere and so many familiar faces enjoying the day. Supporting local events and giving back to the community is something we’re always proud to do.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year.
