🌿✨ ANOTHER GARDEN TRANSFORMATION COMPLETE! ✨🌿

Unfortunately, we couldn’t find the original start pictures 📸 — but we chopped down the trees and bushes for a fresh canvas

🚜 23 TONNES excavated from the garden to achieve a much better level
💪 150mm compacted MOT Type 1 installed for a solid foundation
🏡 Concrete footings installed
✨ 57m² of Core Ivory 600x600 porcelain paving laid
〰️ Single-course low-level curved edging to give the patio a clean finish
🧱 580mm high block-built planter, complete with drainage and engineer brick coping
🌱 40m² of fresh turf laid using 10 tonnes of quality soil
🧼 2-part epoxy grout used for a durable, premium finish

And we didn’t stop at the back! 👀

The front garden was also given a makeover, including:

🔨 Re-laid the existing brindle block paving
♻️ Re-used some of the older slabs where possible
🌿 Added small low-level planters
🌸 Finished with pink rose gravel to create a cleaner, more attractive and much lower-maintenance front garden

🚧 A Couple of Smaller Projects Completed! 👷‍♂️✨

Not every job has to be a full garden transformation – we’re just as happy helping with the smaller projects too! 💪

✅ Driveway Sealing
We returned to a driveway we completed a couple of months ago to professionally seal it, helping to protect the surface, enhance the colour, and keep it looking its best for years to come. 🏡✨

✅ Summer House Base Preparation
We cleared and prepared a garden ready for a new summer house, then finished the area by laying 4 tonnes of premium slate, creating a clean, low-maintenance finish. 🌿🪨

Whether it’s a full garden makeover or a smaller improvement, we’re committed to delivering the same high standard of workmanship every time.

🌿 Project 7 – Drakelow Park Estate 🌿

What a transformation! 💪

This project involved a complete overhaul of a poorly installed artificial grass and paving job. We stripped everything back and rebuilt it properly from the ground up, ensuring it will stand the test of time. 👌

🔨 Project Highlights:
✅ Excavated 42 tonnes of waste material
✅ Installed 20 tonnes of MOT Type 1
✅ Poured 400mm deep concrete footings
✅ Built a solid blockwork retaining wall with drainage installed behind
✅ Constructed a beautiful new set of steps
✅ Installed ACO drainage throughout
✅ Laid just under 85m² of premium Zaskar porcelain paving, finished with an Aravelli Dark Grey border
✅ Custom-cut porcelain copings with crunched edges to soften the finish
✅ Installed porcelain wall cladding to create a clean, modern look

It’s the finer details that make all the difference. ✨

We finished the pathway with Black Ice gravel, brought the rear garden levels up with fresh topsoil, and ensured every aspect of the project was completed to the highest standard.

🏡 Front Garden Transformation

After completing the rear garden, the client showed us a photo of the vision they had for the front of their home—and we delivered it to a tee. 👌

✅ Installed 4.5m² of Zaskar porcelain
✅ Added Black Porcelain Planks to complement the rear garden
✅ Squared off the frontage using large-format blocks
✅ Finished with a Black Ice gravel border for a sleek, contemporary finish

Another high-quality landscaping project completed by UD Paving & Landscapes! 👌

This project included:

🩶 32m² Zaskar Light Grey Porcelain Patio
✨ Finished with a 150x900 porcelain plank edging

🔨 Installation process:
✅ Excavated to 200mm
✅ Installed a non-woven geotextile membrane
✅ Installed and compacted 160mm Type 1 MOT stone
✅ Laid porcelain on a 4:1 tacky mortar mix
✅ Fully primed all paving slabs
✅ Finished with a 2-part epoxy jointing compound
✅ Completed with Black Ice decorative gravel for the perfect finish

🪵 32m² Supreme Full Composite Decking (High-End Range)

Our decking build included:
✅ Raised timber frame using 6x2 treated timbers
✅ Joists installed at 200mm centres for maximum strength
✅ 3 support posts per metre for superior stability
✅ Protected every joist with Walther Strong Deck Tape
✅ Hidden fixing clips used on every decking board
✅ Colour-matched fascia boards and screws for a flawless finish

What a transformation this one has been! 💪

🔨 Project Highlights:
✅ Excavated and removed over 75 tonnes of spoil to achieve the required garden levels.
✅ Installed over 14 tonnes of MOT Type 1 at 150mm depth for a solid foundation.
✅ Laid 80+ sqm of Kandla Grey Project Paving.
✅ Constructed a stunning composite decking area, built on treated 6x2 timber joists at 250mm centres and protected with Walter Strong Deck Tape for added longevity, finished with matching fascia boards.
✅ Installed 74 sqm of premium fine turf.
✅ Spread and levelled 12 tonnes of screened loam soil.
✅ Driveway fully protected throughout the works – as always! 🚧
✅ Finished off with beautiful Black Ice decorative stone for that perfect finishing touch. 🖤

We’ve just finished this fantastic landscaping project, delivering a durable, practical, and stylish outdoor space for our client. 👌

🔨 Works completed:

✅ Excavated and removed approximately 22 tonnes of material from the garden
✅ Installed a solid 150mm Type 1 aggregate sub-base for maximum stability
✅ Fitted KL kerbs across the garage threshold to create a raised retaining edge
✅ Installed KS kerbs along the right-hand perimeter to form a neat planter border
✅ Laid 43m² of beautiful Kandla Grey Indian sandstone paving
✅ Finished with a high-quality two-part resin grout for a long-lasting, professional finish

🌱 To complete the project, we installed 4 tonnes of premium loam topsoil along with 30m² of AAA-grade turf, giving the garden its perfect finishing touch.

A long overdue transformation completed to the highest standard for improved drainage, durability, and appearance.

✅ Groundworks & Drainage
🚜 Excavated and removed approximately 27 tonnes of spoil from the garden.
💧 Installed a 4-drain soakaway system complete with intake soakaway crates.
🪨 Surrounded the drainage system with 20mm shingle for maximum permeability.
🧵 Installed a non-woven Terram membrane throughout.
🏗️ Laid 8 tonnes of MOT Type 3 sub-base.
📏 Added a 40mm angular sub-base layer.
🪨 Installed 4.5 tonnes of 6mm granite for a premium finish and enhanced drainage.
