What do you enjoy most about being a trainer?
Micky- Having the opportunity to pass on knowledge.
Alex- I find it satisfying to help others achieve their goals and pass on knowledge to people who donât have a lot of previous experience.
-
Why did you become a trainer?
To take on a new challenge in the industry and to be closer to home to spend time with family.
-
Whatâs one thing you make sure learners take away from your sessions?
Making sure they understand how the learning would link in with a real-life scenario, not just passing the test.
-
How do you help your candidates grow in skills and confidence?
Ensuring they truly understand by talking to them about our own previous experiences on site which makes all the difference.
-
What is the most rewarding part of the job?
Seeing the candidates achieve their goals.
-
Why should someone choose Ivor King Training?
We teach more than a test; we make sure each session fits individual needs and our candidates leave with a true understanding of their course.
-
Outside of training, how do you like to spend your time?
Alex â I like going on walks, visiting local pubs, holidaying and spending time with my family.
Micky â I like spending time with family, motorbiking, fishing, shooting and going away in my caravan.
