Last Trace and access job before the weekend.

Customer called us from Welford on Avon as we were recommended by Severn trent water.

We not only arrived to take a look , we managed to carry out Trace and Access. Locate the Lead mains, which again was running under the drains. Replace and fit new MDPE and 2 transitional couplers. ( van stock )

But we got it completed. Keeping it clean and simple with some style.

Customer supplied everything.

You will also notice there is no tap on the bath.
(The bar mixer as a spout on it )

When we say we work on anything water thats exactly what we mean.

Trace and access ( leak detection)

Here the customer noticed water seeping from the concrete bed.
Access was made , found pipe had come out of the DC1 fitting. Knowing this , we knew there was a bigger issue.
Excavation was carried out and found the rest bend had collapsed causing the pipe to drop and come out of the DC1

Repair was carried out.
AC4000 band seal used below to connect to existing drainage.
New Single socket bend
New section of pipe.
And DC115 band seal fitted on branch.
10mm pea gravel used to back fill.

Another job complete. BK plumbing doing what we do best.

Unfortunately for this customer the husband had a fallen into the shower enclosure, pulling of some of the tiles and damaging the enclosure.

After discussion with the customer we both decided that a new install was the best option due to a already miss match of tiles.

Riped out current setup.
Repiped shower while the boards were off.
Reboarded
New shower boards fitted ( )
Refitted existing bar mixer and grab rail.
New enclosure all fitted and resealed.

Customer can now get back to reusing the shower again.

Leak on water mains in back garden.

Excavation carried out.

2 separate leaks found on old Galvanised Steel and a joint on copper to steel.

Cut out and fitted 2 new Philmac fittings, with 20mm MDPE
Back filled and reinstated.
Gravel board and fence post re installed.
