We are a small family business specialising in hanging baskets, containers and seasonal plants

Welcome to Bilbo's Blooms, we specialise in selling quality ready planted containers, planters & hanging baskets to suit the seasons. We keep a small number for general sale and make others up to order matching customers wishes as closely as possible. We can also refill your own favourite empty baskets, planters etc. In addition we also occasionally have plants and shrubs for sale to plant straigh

t into your garden, many of which are home grown, if we don't have something you're looking for we can endeavor to get it for you. Although based in South Derbyshire we can get planters and plants to Mid-Cheshire for collection every 2 weeks. If that's not enough we also provide a traditional gardening service for general garden maintenance; grass/hedge cutting, weeding, pruning, planting etc

Apologies for the lack of activity on the page, we've still been working away but it's been a funny old year, firstly with summer bedding availability and then the long hot and very dry summer we've been experiencing 😳!

However all orders and refill requests were completed back in May and early June, we didn't have the amount available for general sale as we would have liked, hopefully next year will be better 🤞😊

However we have started to get some photos through from very happy customers 🙏😊 Some photos below of baskets and planters 😊

** Summer Bedding Information **

It's that time of year again when summer bedding plants start to appear in supermarkets, nurseries, stall holders etc 😊

And after having the warmest day of the year this last week we know many of you will be eager to get planting, however it's still a good 4-5 weeks too early to plant out summer bedding! We nearly had a touch of frost last night 🥶 and cold winds and weather will damage these tender plants.

Sadly many outlets selling them don't advise people to protect from frost and cold weather 😔 We our selves don't have the facilities to protect large amounts of tender plants so won't be starting with our baskets etc until the beginning of May at the earliest, weather permitting 😊

We know this may sound a tad negative and bad for business but we'd rather be honest with our much valued customers 😊🙏
