Oakfield Construction was established in 1987 and is a family business based in Nottingham. Initially we carried out work as sub-contractor engineers working for local ground working contractors as well as national construction companies. As the company progressed, we moved into Civil Engineering/Groundwork’s working for local and national companies

However, we have never lost our interest in the

Site Engineering and still to this day carry out Site Engineering duties and Surveys for our many clients and is a side of the company we very much like to be identified with. The organisation is split into 3 companies; Oakfield Construction C. Ltd, Oakfield Plant & Transport Ltd. and Oakfield Recycling Ltd. Each company is recognised in its own specialist area with its own sets of clients. Our experience over the past 30 years is highly valued by our customers. We are a modern, forward-thinking company with an established pedigree. We provide a quality product with very little fuss and we work with Individuals or companies either in partnership or traditional contract. We are very approachable which we need to be in building a successful company.

On Thursday, we attended the annual Switch Up Charity Dinner, hosted by Marcellus Baz and the Switch Up team.

It was another unforgettable evening celebrating an incredible cause, filled with inspiring stories, amazing people and a shared passion for making a real difference in our community.

A fantastic £73,000+ was raised throughout the evening - an incredible amount that will help Switch Up continue the vital work they do day in, day out.

A huge credit to everyone involved in making the event such a success. We’re proud to support and sponsor such a brilliant organisation.

New project! 🎉

We have recently commenced works on a new residential housing development in Warsop, where 19 new homes are being built.

We’re pleased to be working on this project for our valued client, Tanbry Construction, and look forward to seeing the site progress over the coming weeks.

This week, in support of Mental Health Awareness Week, we encouraged our teams to ‘take a break’ - enjoying a coffee and sweet treat while taking time to chat with colleagues on site and across our offices. Sweet treats were provided across all teams to help encourage conversation and connection.

At Oakfield, we understand the importance of supporting positive mental health in the workplace, and Mental Health Awareness Week is a great opportunity to continue raising awareness and encouraging open conversations.

We are also proud to share that two of our colleagues, Millie and Nick, have recently completed Mental Health Training and are now qualified Mental Health First Aiders, allowing us to provide even greater support across our office and site teams when needed.

Sometimes, simply taking five minutes for a conversation can make a real difference.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Valerie Bramhall, who sadly passed away on Friday 8th May.

Val was a huge part of the Oakfield team for over 27 years and remained a valued member of the office right up until her passing at 83 years old. She was loved by so many across Oakfield and had a huge impact on the business over the years.

Her caring nature, kindness and presence around the office will never be forgotten, and she will be hugely missed by us all. ❤️
