Replacing a panel rad in a downstairs loo (previously sprayed gold 🤦 and a column radiator their "friend" tried to DIY fit without using the valves they wanted leaving it unlevel, leaking and needing a refit from scratch. Called out to a water mark on a ceiling. Open a hole to find water had been collecting for a long while. Shower above leaking behind the wall. Both the thermostatic valve and the water flow valve were leaking. Both replaced. Everything cleaned up and re sealed. Ceiling repair to be done late when the area has dried out. 1 out and 1 in after the customer dropped a glass candle in the bowl and smashed it. I decided on clear silicone for the new 1 instead of the white as I think it gives a better finish to the meeting of the tiles. Extended the water feed which was too short to allow the toilet out.
