This old cylinder had failed and leaked tripping the electrics. A new Megaflo cylinder was fitted ( upto 30 year warranty on the main core cylinder excluding other parts). We cleaned out the loft tank whilst we were ther too as it was needed. Fresh central heating water and a couple bottle of Adey mC1+ inhibitor should keep rust at bay.

Today we replaced a problematic boiler with a Vaillant ecoTEC Pro 30. Everything was tight but all fitted and working. 10 years manufacturer's warranty and no more pressure issues.

These gas leaks are more common thank you think. On a boiler service we found that the gas fire in the office was leaking. The customer could not smell gas, luckily it wasn't bad enough to make the gas fire turbo :). Quickly fixed and ready for winter. ( sorry about he heavy breathing, fatty here strugglign to knee down)

One of today's jobs was to remove a radiator wher ethe feeding piep was damaged. We froze the pipework in order to be able to cut and cap the piepwork, leaving the customer the choice to then fit a new raidaotr and piepwork or leave it capped.

An old Worcester Boshe system boiler had a cracked heat exchanger burning central heating water and dropping in pressure daily. Beyond economical repair a new Vaillant ecotec plus system boiler ( 10 year warranty) was fitted slightly more to the left and central as to be accessible and look better. The cupboard unit luckily came apart and back to gather in one piece.

On a routine boiler service we detected a drop in gas pressure at the meter. A little investigation later and we found the culprit, a compression joint on the hob was leaking. Customers could not smell the gas leak. Good thing we found it as it was inches from a gas oven....

Today we fitted these beautiful aluminium white radiators. Customers are happy but I doubt they'll be used this week.
