Taking aim for a great cause 🎯💜

The Tradesman team recently joined our sister companies for a charity clay pigeon shooting day, raising money for the Children’s Bereavement Centre.

The day brought plenty of competition, laughs and team spirit — but the real win was helping raise £790 for a charity that supports children, young people and families affected by the death or terminal illness of someone important to them.

The Children’s Bereavement Centre provides free specialist support to families during some of the most difficult moments they may face, and we’re proud to help raise awareness of the incredible work they do.

A massive well done to everyone involved, and thank you to those who donated and supported the event.

Don’t forget — Newark Duck Race 2026 takes place this Saturday! 🦆💙

We’re proud to be sponsoring 3 ducks in support of The Children’s Bereavement Centre, and we’d love to help spread the word about this brilliant family event.

There’ll be duck-themed games, stalls, children’s activities, inflatables, face painting, music and more — all supporting an amazing charity that helps children, young people and families through incredibly difficult times.

We're proud of the journey we are on.

Here at Tradesmaninsurance4u.co.uk, we understand that the planet is our only home and it desperately needs our help.

The climate crisis is one of the most important issues of our time and we believe each and every one of us has a shared responsibility to take action. That is why we’ve put sustainability at the core of what we do.

We want to do everything we can to reduce our own impact on climate change, so this year we have measured our carbon footprint with the help of Positive Planet and considered the broader environmental impacts of our services.

With their help, we’re making small but significant changes wherever and whenever we can. We believe lots of small efforts, repeated day in, day out, go a long way to maintaining our position as a carbon-neutral business.

Here are just a handful of the things we’re doing as a team to reduce our carbon footprint:

We’ve replaced the majority of business meetings with video conferencing to avoid unnecessary travel.

We use cleaning companies who use environmentally friendly cleaning products to keep our oceans safe.

We recycle waste paper, cardboard, plastic and tin cans and reuse them when and where we can.

We're proud to announce we are almost paperless, meaning we favour digital files over physical ones.

We shop locally where practical and support local businesses.

Although small, we believe the impact is mighty. We actively encourage our clients to make similar steps where they can, in the fight in this aggressive battle climate crisis poses. We also encourage our whole team to think about what they do at home – a home is one thing we all have in common, and any positive changes we can all make WILL make a difference.

Here at the Tradesman Insurance 4U we have already begun the huge task of cleaning up our Beaches and Oceans, ridding them of all those nasty unwanted plastics and other polluting nasties and working towards a cleaner world for us all.
