We're on site in Bingham this week at DJL Pet Foods installing two new L1 fire alarm systems, compliant with BS5839-1:2025. Due to environmental conditions one system requires installation of Wagner Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) while the other building can be covered using optical fire detection beams in combination with traditional point detection. Both systems are being linked using an AJAX EN54 fire alarm system. If you're keen to explore the possibilities of advanced fire alarm detection systems then do get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

We're on site this week at UK Diamond Drilling in Sherwood, Nottingham, carrying out an installation of a BS5839-1:2025 compliant Category L2 fire alarm system. Using the latest Ajax Systems EN54 wireless technology we've been able to neatly install a system in just a few days with minimal disruption. This system will be connected at Grade DP4 to East Midlands Central Station for 24/7 remote monitoring as well as being connected to the best security system mobile app for remote monitoring, support and diagnostics. This helps us offer even more to our customers should any issues arise in the future.

To top all of this off, Sam, our apprentice engineer has been working alongside our accredited designers and commissioning engineers learning about Ajax Systems EN54 fire alarm systems and is making fantastic progress.

If you're thinking about a new fire alarm system, particularly retrofitting around business operations then consider an Ajax Systems EN54 system with Mercury Fire and Security.

It was a bit windy last week but it's nice to see the neat and tidy results of a new AJAX CCTV and video doorbell installation. We've done a reel to show just how good these AJAX video doorbells are, even in very windy conditions. We found the clear communication in a different league to other video doorbells, especially battery powered units. They aren't the cheapest, but they are the best!

The CCTV cameras are lovely and clear as you'd expect from IP cameras, but the real benefit is the AJAX mobile app. Skimming through footage has never been easier and again this is way ahead of the competition.

We installed an AJAX video doorbell for a customer on a very windy day and we were genuinely blown away by the audio quality in these conditions. Unlike some systems, the AJAX doorbell remains crystal clear from even 8m away in windy conditions!
