Trapped air is one of the most common reasons radiators don’t heat evenly. The good news? You can usually fix it yourself in about 5 minutes.

Here’s the simple process:

1. Turn the heating off and let the system cool
2. Hold a cloth under the bleed valve and slowly open it with a radiator key
3. Close the valve as soon as water (not air) starts to come out
4. Check your boiler pressure and top up if needed

Doing this regularly helps your system run more efficiently and can lower your heating bills.
