Making steady progress on this patio project! 🛠️🧱
​Here’s a quick tip I’ve been using on site: color-coded tile spacers!
​🔴 Red Spacers: Work completed on Day 2
🔵 Blue Spacers: Fresh tiles laid today (Day 1 again)
​It’s an easy visual trick that does two great things:
​Tracks Progress: Gives a clear visual of how much gets done each day (perfect for keeping clients in the loop!).
​Site Safety: Makes it obvious which fresh tiles are still curing so no one steps where they shouldn't.
​Tomorrow we’ll rotate back to red for Day 3!

☀️ Patio Progress Update! 🧱✨

​Soaked up some sun this afternoon and made a great start on this new patio installation!

​Here’s a breakdown of the layout and materials:
​Main Paving: Amalfi Gris porcelain tiles laid in a clean, stylish third-bond pattern.
​Border Accent: Amalfi Anthracite tiles cut down into custom planks to create a sharp contrast around the edges.
​Precision Fitting: Dealing with a slight taper by overlaying the Amalfi Gris tiles, ensuring every border cut maintains a crisp, square angle all the way down.

​It’s coming together nicely—can’t wait to share the final look once the full border and grouting are complete! 🛠️🏡

Detectives investigating a report of sexual assault in Langley Mill are appealing for witnesses.

Officers were called to reports that a teenage girl had been sexually assaulted near to Eastwood Lock at Langley Mill canal, just before 8:20pm on Saturday evening (25 July).

The incident is understood to have happened sometime between 6pm – 8pm, when the girl was approached from behind by a man and assaulted.

The man is described as black or mixed race, around 5ft 10ins tall, and of medium build.

He was wearing a black zip up hoodie, grey joggers, and had his face covered.

Detectives are very keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have noticed a man behaving suspiciously.

Local officers will be on patrol in and around the area, and anyone with concerns is invited to speak with them.
