Little Mouse Pottery is a small home studio that offers fun weekly pottery classes for adults . Pottery sessions and workshops for small groups plus baby clay prints, pawprints for your fur-baby and commission work. Please note that I currently no longer offer pottery painting in the studio although I am happy to bring pottery to your group or event and baby prints onto pottery is a little more sc

I’m at the beautiful Barton Marina again this Sunday and it looks like there’s been a couple of last minute cancellations so if you’ve fancied a bit of pottery please let Lesley at the Mug Tug know . It’s £80 pp which includes all the firing of your pieces afterwards .
There’s a couple of places on the morning session 10-1pm and again in the afternoon 2-5pm . We’ll be throwing and handbuilding and it’s always a lovely half day spent at the Marina .
So please do come and join us! 😀

Tonight is Highland Coos ❤️❤️❤️ Very apt as I have just returned from Scotland !

An amazing 3 days back in one of my favourite places learning from Sculptor Brendan Hesmondhalgh.
I thought I’d picked a relatively simple subject but oh boy was it anything but! After repositioning the head on day 2 and the nose on day 3 it still grew into something much bigger than I intended .
The clay was a new one to me and going to fire to a lovely dark brown so can’t wait to see how that turns out if it survives the firing! It’s going to be a nerve wracking few months wait to find that out!

Been tinkering as it was National puffin week last week. ❤️ I think Puffins are the cutest & funniest of birds and I’m off to see them nesting in a week or so .
This little plaque is yet to be bisque fired so just painted in coloured clay slips at the moment. If I remember , I’ll post the final result when it’s out of the firings ☺️ x
