Little Mouse Pottery A small studio offering pottery evening classes private lessons, baby clay prints and commissions Individual lessons.

Little Mouse Pottery is a small home studio that offers fun weekly pottery classes for adults . Pottery sessions and workshops for small groups plus baby clay prints, pawprints for your fur-baby and commission work. Please note that I currently no longer offer pottery painting in the studio although I am happy to bring pottery to your group or event and baby prints onto pottery is a little more scaled down due to no longer having the space but please get in contact if you have a specific request and I will do my best to help.

I’m very lax at keeping the socials updated but wanted to jump on and share that it’s all go this weekend after a couple of weeks away from the studio!
Lots of excellent pots made by complete novices 👏👏👏 Even though throwing is not easy everyone did so well and left smiling! 😁
Cleaned up and ready for the next Introduction to Throwing session in the morning. ☺️☺️☺️

If you have wanted to give throwing a try these introductory sessions are 2 or 3hrs long and get you into creating your very own pots on the wheel . Sessions can be booked as an individual session or up to 4 people. (Details and prices on the website ) So why not treat yourself 😄

Intros are booked on two Wednesday daytimes and two Saturdays each month. 2026 is fully booked now but 2027 dates will be on the website soon.

Go on …see what all the fuss is about and get that pottery bug. It’s great therapy 😁

I’m at the beautiful Barton Marina again this Sunday and it looks like there’s been a couple of last minute cancellations so if you’ve fancied a bit of pottery please let Lesley at the Mug Tug know . It’s £80 pp which includes all the firing of your pieces afterwards .
There’s a couple of places on the morning session 10-1pm and again in the afternoon 2-5pm . We’ll be throwing and handbuilding and it’s always a lovely half day spent at the Marina .
So please do come and join us! 😀

Tonight is the second of our clay workshops organized by Melissa at Angel Emporium, hosted by Alice’s Tea Shop and run by me …I love it when Keyworth businesses all work together to bring you things like this ❤️
Tonight is Highland Coos ❤️❤️❤️ Very apt as I have just returned from Scotland !

An amazing 3 days back in one of my favourite places learning from Sculptor Brendan Hesmondhalgh.
I thought I’d picked a relatively simple subject but oh boy was it anything but! After repositioning the head on day 2 and the nose on day 3 it still grew into something much bigger than I intended .
The clay was a new one to me and going to fire to a lovely dark brown so can’t wait to see how that turns out if it survives the firing! It’s going to be a nerve wracking few months wait to find that out!
Good bye lovely Yorkshire and all my duck friends …see you again in September 🥰

All set up in A C Allan Opticians ready for Sherwood Art Week next week. Had a mooch round and saw some very nice art displayed in the shop windows .

A class project that wasn’t all about the clay . A lady wanted to make a bee and bug house so I put my woodworking skills to use and drilled some holes in a block of wood.
Looks fab and can’t wait to see if it gets any visitors!! 🐝🐞🕷️
