Car Park Demolition in Coventry: Update

Demolition is rolling on at the car park in Coventry, bay by bay, steady and controlled.

The 360, hydraulic grab and breaker are making quick work of the steel framework, with each section coming down exactly as planned.

Hot works monitored.
Damping down in place.
Exclusion zones maintained.
Plant checked and signed off.
Permits active.
Safety leading every step.

Car Park Demolition in Coventry: Bay by Bay

The team has been busy this week on a car park demolition in Coventry, taking it down one bay at a time using the 360, hydraulic grab and breaker to cut and remove the steel framework.

With hot works on site, we're damping down, clearing flammables, and keeping a one-hour fire watch in place.

Safe, steady, controlled is exactly how we do it.

Another upgrade for the fleet. This time, a brand-new Ford Transit Connect Trend has just been delivered to TRD HQ.

Smart, efficient and looking spot-on in the sunshine, it's the latest step in our ongoing programme to modernise and refresh our vehicles across the business.

Big Kit on the Move from TRD HQ

Our Volvo EC480 high-reach excavator rolled out of TRD HQ this morning, loaded up safely on a J Swingler Transport wagon and heading to one of our demolition projects.

It’s always a beautiful sight seeing this machine leave the yard; serious reach, serious capability and about to get stuck into some serious work.

Phase 1 of Our Northampton Petrol Station Demolition is Underway

Work is progressing well in Northampton as we take down the former petrol station and warehouse to the rear of the site.

The team is moving through asbestos removal, soft strip, full demolition and substructure breakout. Slabs, footings, foundations, drainage and underground tanks all coming up in sequence.

Brick and concrete are being crushed into 6F2 and stockpiled on site, while all other materials are being carefully segregated and sent to licensed recycling facilities.

Efficient, safe, sustainable. The TRD way.

Another Sunny Day, Another Site Visit - And a UK First for TRD ☀️

Another bright day on site in Coventry today, checking in on the very first Mesda J10H Hybrid Jaw to land in the UK…and it’s ours.

The machine is already putting in serious work, crushing demolition waste with impressive efficiency and showing exactly why this hybrid kit is such a smart addition to the TRD fleet.

Great weather and a very exciting milestone for our demolition operations.

Big Move Incoming: Thanks to True Group!

Shout-out to Joseph Louch at True Group who's sent over this photo of him moving one of our 30-tonne Volvo excavators from Wigston to our new demolition site in Coventry.

It was Joseph's first time moving one of our big machines, and he absolutely smashed it. It’s always great to see our partners taking pride in the job and sharing the moment with us.
