Not every consumer unit replacement ends up looking picture perfect, and sometimes that’s simply due to the existing installation and cables not being long enough to allow for a neat reconfiguration.

Today’s upgrade in Linby was carried out after the customer experienced a fault on an external light, which resulted in half of the property losing power.

They decided it was the right time to upgrade to a modern RCBO consumer unit, providing improved fault protection and helping to minimise disruption should a fault occur in the future.

Another safer, more reliable installation completed, tested, and certified.

Rodent Damage in the Loft? Don’t Leave It Too Long.

We were recently called out to a property where the RCD wouldn’t reset. After fault finding, we found squirrels had chewed through several cables in the loft, causing the fault.

If you suspect rodents in your loft, it’s worth getting it dealt with quickly before more damage is caused.
