Today’s goal.. strip the existing lead bay above the window due to it leaking when it rains 🌧️

Using 18mm OSB boards we then securely fixed these ready for the rubber membrane to be bonded using deck adhesive and contact spray✅

Upstand the wall allowing enough coverage behind the lead keeping this project 100% watertight!🙏🏻

•Few tile repairs on a bungalow to change that have broken✅

Out with the old, in the with new🤩
•Removal of asbestos soffit to the front and rear of the property✅
•Removal of wooden timber fascias and old rainwater goods✅

What we did:
•Installed new white UPVC soffit and Fascias to both sides of the property✅
•Supplied and fitted new black rainwater goods too allow water to flow correctly to the downpipe✅
•Installed new extractor fan vent into the soffit allowing the steam too be ventilated out of the bathroom sufficiently✅

Following on from our previous post, more progress has been made on our job🤩

-The pictures below are going to show the work we have produce so far..🙏🏻few finishing details are to be done next week in time for the customer too be home from their holiday✅🙌🏻

A little update on our current project in progress..⭐️
•Old tin roof stripped off✅
•All wooden joists removed✅
•New wall plate installed✅
•New timber rafters installed and secured✅
•Extra supports installed to keep the framing nice and secure✅
•Wall straps drilled and screwed finishing off✅

Ready for felt and batten tomorrow and finishing off with smooth grey concrete tiles🙏🏻

Had a job booked in originally to clean the guttering all around their property and remove any broken tiles and replace with new ones.
While we was there, she asked to see if we could clean the pollycarb sheets on top of her little conservatory so we did the following..🙏🏻

This morning we conquered the Chinney work following on from the dry verge system we installed on the customers property.. 🫡
•We grinded out the whole Chinney stack✅
•Re point the stack using building sand and cement✅
•Remove what was left of the existing flaunch on top of the chinney✅
•Add a new layer of flaunch mix to the top of the stack ensuring any rainwater runs off and doesn’t pool ontop of the stack✅
•Finally to finish off, replaced 10x broken tiles making sure the roof is watertight to finish the job off correctly✅
