We recently completed a comprehensive plant room upgrade and heating overhaul for the local Thai temple right here in Norwich!
Here’s a breakdown of the upgrades made to get their system running at peak performance:
⚡ System Power Flush: Carried out a full power flush on the one-pipe system, followed by power flushing each radiator individually to maximize flow rates and heating efficiency.
⚡ Valve Upgrades: Replaced all radiator valves across the temple with high-quality Pegler Belmont wheel head and thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) for total temperature control.
⚡ Plant Room Infrastructure: Fitted dedicated flushing tees, proper isolation valves, and drain points to make future maintenance quick and seamless.
⚡ Commercial Pump Upgrade: Installed a Wilo D50-0.5/9 commercial heating pump kindly donated by .systems! 🙌
⚡ Hot Water & Facilities: Installed a brand-new unvented water heater to serve the restrooms and a newly fitted 1200x900 shower cubicle.
⚡ Mains Upgrade: Upgraded a section of the incoming cold water mains in copper piping, complete with a Pegler full-bore isolation valve and a Stuart Turner pressure regulating valve.
