One of the key advantages of Leak Logic motorised ball valves is that manual override functionality comes as standard.

If a valve without this feature loses power or suffers a motor failure, you can't open or close it manually, leading to downtime, disruption, and additional costs while the unit is isolated, serviced, or replaced.

Our WRAS approved valves provide manual control when you need it most. Available for next day delivery in various sizes from DIN 15-50 https://traceheatingsupplies.com/product-category/valves/

Winter is coming! Is your trace heating system ready to perform?
The cold weather can put your pipework and frost protection systems to the test, so a pre-winter inspection is essential to identify potential issues, prevent costly emergencies, and reduce unexpected downtime.

Alongside general wear and tear, there are a number of external factors that can impact the performance of your trace heating system. Our experienced engineers provide expert maintenance, inspections, and technical troubleshooting, including:

• A full visual survey and inspection where trace heating power connectors and thermostats are visible and accessible
•Insulation resistance checks on trace heating cables
•Capacitance test on trace heating cables to identify circuit lengths
•Correct operation of thermostats to ensure power supply can switch the trace heating load
•Thermal imaging survey to monitor heat distribution and loss

Request a quote today to make sure your trace heating system is ready for this winter.

Our Trace Heating team recently delivered on-site frost protection training for a client looking to obtain the deeper knowledge needed to carry out a successful self-installation for their project.

The session covered industry best practices, product specifications, and an introduction to the core RAYCHEM solutions used for frost protection applications. Participants also benefited from hands-on installation training, ensuring they left with practical experience as well as technical knowledge.

During the session, certified Pro Raychem installer, Paul Davis, demonstrated the correct installation of the RAYCHEM XL-Trace cable on a demo pipework setup. After which, each attendee had the opportunity to practise the installation themselves under expert guidance.

Are you considering offering Trace Heating installation services to your customers? Or do you have an upcoming project that you plan to self-install? Our experienced engineers are available to share their expertise through tailored training sessions designed to help your team install and maintain trace heating systems safely, efficiently, and in line with industry best practices. We first heard about Sam James and the Wymondham to Paris – A Ride for Freedom cycle challenge through Wymondham Chiropractic Clinic

A small team of riders are taking on the massive 400 mile challenge of riding from Wymondham to Paris from 15th-18th September, aiming to complete the journey in just 4 days!

The goal is to raise £8000 so Sam can purchase a special hand cycle to help build up his strength following a year of bed rest and surgery.

If you saw Sam on Anglia News last Thursday, you’ll know what an inspiration he is. We are delighted to support such a worthwhile cause and wish the team all the very best for this incredible challenge!

Follow Sam’s journey, see the progress of the trip and donate to his JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/sam-james-4

Regular servicing of your leak detection system is almost as important as the installation itself. Faults in your system can trigger unwarranted alarms and disruptive investigations, or in the worst case, fail to alert you to a potentially damaging leak.

Our skilled engineers carry out preventative maintenance checks, troubleshoot faulty systems and fully document their work, giving you confidence that your leak monitoring equipment is operating as it should.

The team's servicing capabilities also extend to trace heating systems, where we use thermal imaging to monitor heat distribution and loss, carry out insulation resistance checks and capacitance tests, and perform full inspections to ensure your systems are operating correctly.

With many years of experience in these specialist sectors, we provide servicing and maintenance across systems from all manufacturers, not just those we’ve installed. Time for a system check-up? Get in touch to book.

Hot Water Trace Heating (HWAT) systems are becoming increasingly popular in commercial buildings due to their impressive efficiency and cost-saving benefits. Unlike traditional recirculation systems, HWAT maintains the correct water temperature throughout the distribution pipework.

This smart solution helps reduce energy use, lowers water consumption, and requires minimal maintenance, making it a highly effective and economical option for modern hot water systems. Implementing HWAT controlled services can have an energy saving of up to 50% and a notable reduction in the total energy used in a building.

Visit our website today to explore our full range of HWAT trace heating products and request a quote or order products online https://www.diamondcontrols.co.uk/trace-heating/hot-water-system-trace-heating/

This summer has been full of trace heating training sessions, and it's been fantastic to welcome so many insulation contractors looking to expand their knowledge of Raychem products and best practice installation methods.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Optimum Thermal Services Ltd, who are expanding their service offering by providing trace heating solutions to their clients. Completing training on Raychem frost protection and hot water system trace heating is a key step in ensuring they can deliver these installations with confidence and expertise.

With September training dates almost fully booked, now is the perfect time to secure your place before the colder weather arrives and demand for frost protection increases.

If you'd like to deepen your knowledge of Raychem trace heating systems and be ready for the busy season ahead, get in touch.
