Nice little before and after in this current minor project. We've removed the bomb proof ramp , replaced the rotten threshold, and there is nothing like stripping off plastic paint . We will now repaint using linseed oil paint.

Back to Barmer for some re-rendering internally. Doing what we love doing . Even had a new start this week, young lad at the end of his A-levels , he picked up a trowel and gave it a go and done a cracking job 👏.

Barmer All Saints Church - its a wrap . Practical completion done with future works in the pipeline . Fantastic job with some excellent challenges . The slates from were flawless .
If you've been following this job you'll remember we took off all the copings , and installed new brick upstands to take the lead flashing , reset the copings with a string course detail added in around the tower , the new slates went on then all new gutters, downpipes and drains finished this job to a dry end.

Please give this little gem of a church a visit. It sits on the centre of a field surrounded by trees and is very picturesque.... in the summer ☀️

Barmer Church - 3weeks ago we started this project, all copings off with new brick upstands installed ready to take new lead flashings and then copings back on with a new string course up the tower and a slate crease up the chancel abutment . Greatful to have had the weather on our side and a good push to get things ready for the reroof to start on the 30th.
