The season has definitely shifted into full on Spring and early summer mode. We’re always happy when the Sun once again warms your back and brings the garden to life with a flourish of growth.
Our Construction team is busy finishing of a City centre courtyard before moving out of the city to Lenwade for a woodland garden. Planting will require a little irrigation with the warmer weather to help establish things.
We’re now taking bookings for June and July for construction works and patios.

We are turfing a great deal more than we were last year. Customers are having their lawns re-turfed with additional drainage to prevent waterlogging. This seems to be prevalent on our new build sites. It’s an easy fix for us and not as expensive as you might think.

So many gardens I visit are "big rectangles of grass with skinny borders around the edge". It's practical when you've got little ones tearing about, but once you're ready for your garden to become more than a play area, that layout stops working for you.
I love taking that big, blank lawn and breaking it into smaller, more intimate spaces. A curve here, a bold cut through there, a deeper bed where you can actually get planting... it completely changes how you feel when you step outside.

Altering the shapes within your garden plot is one of the simplest ways to turn "just grass" into a space you actually want to spend time in.

Literal guardian angels! I sadly experienced a runaway job last year and I hired Jody and his team to fix every and complete a garden renovation and I can't express how happy I am with the end result! The quality of the work is outstanding, the guys were all absolutely lovely, as a single female I felt SO comfortable having them in my garden, just genuinely lovely guys who get the job done. Super polite, incredibly helpful and respectful. I'll be hiring him again in the summer to do my front garden 🙂 Pics to come once I put my plants in and make it look all pretty!
