As I haven't posted since Christmas, I thought it would be the ideal time to update the page...its 2 years since I took the jump and went self employed! 🧱🏡

I cannot thank every customer enough over the last two years for trusting us with the work on their properties, the continued support on social media with likes and reviews and for many becoming good friends along the way.

We've had many projects on the go, from full 500 year old cottage renovations, to barn conversion work, to the smaller end of the scale jobs including doorways being bricked up and damp problems being investigated and resolved!

Thank you to Dad and Karl for both working hard alongside myself and providing an outstanding quality of work! Here's to many more years 👌🏻 Thank you to my amazing wife for the endless support and to my little boys for helping me in the yard loading the van up ❤️

Now taking bookings for 2027! 100% of the work we have booked in for the next 6 months plus are all repeat customers which I cannot appreciate enough!

An absolutely fantastic review to finish the year off! Karl has been back this morning to grout the path and do the final clean and it looks superb! We've been very lucky with deliveries on time, skips changed ASAP but most of all, very well looked after by these lovely customers with homemade cakes, endless cups of tea and sausage sandwiches, a definite way to our hearts!

More work booked in here for 2026!

Thank you to every single customer, enquiry and reaction to posts this year, I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a superb new year! See you all in 2026, some great projects lined up including a house renovation, extensions and many more knockthroughs!

Absolutely stunning transformation on this Victorian property in the heart of Diss over the last couple of weeks!

The previous area was high maintenance, impractical and with the soil higher than DPC and air brick level, it needed to be changed before it had adverse effects on the property.

- Fully excavated by hand due to electric, water gas and soil drains being present ✅️

- Existing wall cut back, a new foundation laid and a new pier built to widen the driveway entrance ✅️

- Driveway w**d membrane and 100mm of Type1 MOT laid and compacted ✅️

- 50m² of Harvest Tegula block paving laid on sharp sand with bedded edges and a 10mm pea shingle border ✅️

- New storm water gulley surround and air brick surrounds ✅️

- Fully compacted and sanded with kiln dried sand. Pavement patched in to ✅️

- Concrete path laid to front door with roll top edgings. Victorian style tiles laid too (ready to grout next week - pictures to follow) ✅️

Absolutely over the moon with the results and the pictures don't do the customers colour choice justice! The area is now low maintenance, keeps vehicles off the road and improves the overall aesthetic. More work booked in for these lovely customers for next summer 🫡

Two weeks off now to enjoy time with my wife and children. Have a great Christmas and New Year all 🎄🎅

Final edit:

All of the coats have now gone to homes that they deserve! I have literally had hundreds of messages so had to do things on a first come first serve basis. This really shows how many children are in need.

Thank you to every single person who has messaged, commented, reacted or shared this post, it raises the awareness that I was completely oblivious to until last week. I will 100% be doing this every year for the foreseeable, seeing the impact this has had.

Afternoon all!

A bit of a different post from me rather than work related! I read an article last week that shocked me, around 300,000 children in the UK will be without a coat this winter due to family circumstances. Having 2 children myself and working outside 90% of the time, I wouldn't want any child to be cold this year!

I usually do a little free job each month to help someone out, but for December, I have purchased 10 new thermal coats for families who are in GENUINE need - if this helps genuine families out, I'd like to continue this every year, so please be honest.

If you have a child who is in need of a coat and want to remain anonymous to the public, please drop me a PM, or a message on my WhatsApp (07590990747) and I promise it will be completely confidential. I will personally hand deliver them too.
