Some throwback ‘before & after’ shots of my garden. When we bought the house in 2018, both house and garden had not been touched since 1952. The undergrowth was up to roof height and it was full of buddlias, modern roses and nettles! It would have taken a year to clear without the help of a man and his digger and my wonderful family. We had the garden scraped to eliminate the old root systems and then I began to plan! The latter pictures of my finish garden having been taken over the last five years as it matures. It is my Haven.♥️♥️♥️

I’ve just been lucky enough to go on the most wonderful trip! Travelling overland through France down to the Mediterranean. Horticulturally, it’s been a thrill to see plants that I’ve only ever seen in books. Pomegranates, bougainvillea, pink peppercorns, cashews and of course olives everywhere. It’s sparked the plant hunter in me and I’m planning an even further upfield trip for next year.

My tiny cutting garden bed has really performed well this year! It’s only 2m x 1m but it’s supporting so many flowers. Sweet peas, dahlias, cornflowers, and now the cosmos are starting to put on a show. I ♥️ it!

Finishing off a super hard week (never go on holiday in May because everything grows!!) in Lady C’s beautiful garden. Her lupins are sublime and so prolific, they’re almost a w**d in this garden ♥️
