Parts Advisor

Due to continued expansion, Newall Plant Ltd is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our team at our depot just off the A11.

The Role
As Parts Advisor, you'll play a key role in supporting the workshop and wider business by ensuring parts are sourced, managed and supplied efficiently.

Responsibilities will include:
• Managing and sourcing parts requirements
• Supporting workshop and operational teams
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
• Assisting with general administrative duties
• Helping to develop and implement effective processes and procedures
• Building positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues

READY FOR THE RETURN TO SCHOOL!

Newall Plant Ltd is proud to have worked once again with Pentaco Construction Ltd, this time helping to deliver a new 450-place primary school for Suffolk County Council.

Our work began back in summer 2025 with the initial earthworks, followed by a variety of groundworks across the site over the course of the project.

Fast forward to September 2026 and the new school was ready to open its doors and welcome its pupils for the start of the new academic year.

It’s great to see a project through from those early days on site to a finished development that will make a real difference to the local community.

Newall Plant Ltd is looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Tipper Driver to join our expanding team in Attleborough, Norfolk.

As a successful family-run business continuing to grow, we’re looking for a reliable and experienced driver to support our busy haulage operations.

This is a full-time, permanent and varied role, with nights out required depending on operational requirements.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving Class 1 tipper vehicles
Carrying out haulage work across a variety of projects and locations
Completing nights out as required
Ensuring loads are transported safely and efficiently
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and maintaining high standards of vehicle care
Working closely with our transport and operations team
Representing Newall Plant Ltd professionally when working on customer sites

What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
A valid HGV Class 1 licence
Previous HGV driving experience
A valid Driver CPC
A valid Digital Tachograph Driver Card
Experience driving tipper vehicles would be advantageous
A reliable and flexible approach to work
A strong awareness of road and site safety
The ability to work independently and as part of the wider Newall team

What We Offer
£35,000–£50,000 per year

£35 allowance per night out

HGV Fitter

Newall Plant Ltd is looking for an experienced HGV Fitter to join our expanding team.

As a successful family-run business continuing to grow, we are looking for an experienced and dependable HGV Fitter to help maintain our fleet and ensure our vehicles continue to operate safely, reliably and in accordance with current legislation.

Based at our depot just off the A11, this is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary, overtime availability and the chance to become part of an established and growing business.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out all types of HGV servicing and maintenance
Preparing vehicles for annual tests
Inspecting vehicles in accordance with current legislation
Fault diagnosis using appropriate diagnostic equipment
Electrical and hydraulic fault finding
Maintaining high standards of workshop housekeeping
Helping to ensure our fleet remains safe, compliant and ready for operation

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience maintaining and repairing HGVs
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems
Good working knowledge of DVSA requirements and legislation
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A full UK driving licence
Class 1 or Class 2 HGV entitlement would be an advantage

Cleared, crushed and ready to be reused.

Our team recently completed a site clearance for a local customer, removing an existing concrete-framed building and processing the resulting concrete on site.

Rather than simply removing the material, the concrete was crushed ready to be reused back on site, turning demolition material into a useful resource for the next stage of the project.

Back on site in Taverham.

We’re working once again with Breheny Civil Engineering on a proposed housing development where Newall previously installed the haul roads and site compound.
This time, our team is forming infiltration basins and ponds, with works including headwalls, Reno mattresses and gabions.

From preparing the infrastructure that gets a project moving to returning for the next stages of construction, our team has the experience, plant and capabilities to deliver a wide range of groundworks on site.
