One of the groups formed from Norfolk Freemasons - The Norfolk Masonic Clay Pigeon Shooting Association - generously donating to the Sandra Chapman Centre.
Our Sandra Chapman Centre, which supports patients with malignant and non-malignant conditions, including blood disorders and cancers, has received a generous donation from the Norfolk Masonic Clay Pigeon Shooting Association following recent fundraising activity.
The Centre is one of several local charities and groups who have benefitted from the generosity of the Association, which raises money through clay pigeon shoots and raffles at the events. The Association โ a group of Masons and non Masons that organise Clay shooting events, usually at Mid Norfolk Shooting Ground in Taverham - have also supported local organisations including the Great Yarmouth Go Ahead Club, a charity and social group for adults with learning disabilities, and the Caring Together Charity, that supports carers.
On Wednesday a cheque for ยฃ250 was handed over to our hospital charity for the Sandra Chapman Centre by the Secretary of Norfolk Masonic Clay Pigeon Shooting Association. The Association has a lot of Great Yarmouth based members and the Sandra Chapman Centre was one of the organisations that was chosen to receive money from fundraising raffles and donations at the shoots.
Weโd like to thank everyone involved in this fundraising, including those who organised the events and took part, and those who donated raffle prizes or made a cash donation. The funds will go towards supporting patients using the Centre.
