✨ NEW SERVICE: Licensed Asbestos Scaffolding ✨

We’re pleased to announce that CJB Scaffolding now holds an HSE asbestos ancillary licence. This means we can erect and dismantle scaffolding for licensed asbestos removal, carried out by our UKATA-trained team.

A big thank you to Ross, Calvin, David and everyone involved in reaching this milestone!

🌳Treehouse Expansion With EACH 🌳

On Tuesday, our General Manager, Ross Buck, visited East Anglia's Children's Hospices - EACH to see an important new project CJB is part of to extend their Treehouse site in Ipswich.

EACH (East Anglia's Children's Hospice) does incredible work supporting children and families across the region, so we're proud to be involved, working alongside our client Gipping Construction.

We've started by installing a handrail, and we'll be back over the coming weeks to add more. We're looking forward to seeing this project come together and will share updates along the way.

🔵 New Project: With Bowmer + Kirkland 🔵

We're pleased to share that Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd has appointed us to deliver two full temporary roofs at Smithdon High School, Hunstanton.

The temporary roofs will keep the building protected and weathertight while essential refurbishment works are carried out. Smithdon is a fantastic Grade II listed building, so careful planning and respect for the existing structure really matter.

Thank you to B+K for trusting our team. We're excited to get started and will be sharing key updates as the project progresses.

🎲 Casino Royale at the BDW Nelson's Journey Charity Ball 🎲

On Friday night, CJB Scaffolding joined BDW Anglia ( & ) at the Assembly House for their Casino Royale Charity Ball.

Every penny raised went to , a Norfolk charity supporting children and young people after the death of someone close to them. A brilliant amount had already been raised on the night, so we're looking forward to the final total.

A great excuse to dust off the black tie for a worthwhile cause, and our table was seriously impressed by the magic from Ben Hanlin (how did that final number trick work?).

Thanks to BDW Anglia for hosting the event. We had a great evening!

🔵 Supporting World Su***de Prevention Day 🔵

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day.

As a Lighthouse Charity Company Supporter, we want everyone working on a CJB site, their families, and the wider construction industry to know that free and confidential support is available around the clock.

It is a shocking and saddening fact that construction workers face a risk of su***de three times higher than the national average.

You do not need the perfect words to help:

🔵 If someone on site doesn't seem like themselves, ask how things are really going, and ask a second time if they tell you they are fine.

🔵Listening without judgement and pointing someone toward support could make the difference.
