Target Trees

Target Trees Hi and welcome to our page. Target Trees is norfolks premier and award winning tree service. All timber is recycled in a few ways.

Please have a look at our work and if you’d like to get in touch please call us or email us as we don’t get a lot of time to use messenger on here. We decided to invest in larger and more specialized machines to allow us to beat or rivals and pass the saving on to you, the customer. We also attend many trade shows throughout norfolk to show support to local communities. Established in 2009 we curr

ently complete works for the National Health Service, Arnold Keys, Watsons estate management, Rackheath Hall, Colitshall Hall, NRM, Serco, Broadland Disrtict Council, Norfolk County Council, Broad Authority, Barclays, Cator & Co, Highways and a lot of private customers. We are one of only a few arboricultural contractors to be able to offer you a complete and cost effective range. We have our own employed consultant unlike most our competition who would require outsourcing your survey. We are also able to remove your greenwaste from site and recycle it at our large yard. This allows us to mix ingredients together to produce a high quality mulch out of woodchippings. Hardwood firewood, Planking or sent to be commissioned as a carving. (see evening news and google Gruffallo Taverham). Please feel free to call us for a completely free quote or check out our website for more services.

Not your everyday task!

This tree required clearing after it had failed into the river 150m upstream from a mill. We brought in some of our compact equipment, bridged some boggy marshes to access the riverbank. We secured each section to our compact tractor winch and used its 3t of winch force to bring sections up to the tracking mats we set along the riverbank to prevent any damage to that area. All materials lifted, stacked as habitat by blocking up our access point as we left. Leaving a clear river, preventing an obstruction reaching the mill and rebuilding the footpath that was destroyed by the root plate when the tree went over.

All delivered without a hitch by our experienced team.

We believe in having a strong local ethos of supporting local sports teams. This has been a core value since we started in 2009 and over the years we’ve sponsored a number of local clubs, events and charity raffles.

By supporting us locally through our work you’re helping us to support local sports clubs.

So why not choose a company with local values.

A powerful reminder of nature’s resilience.

Even in the face of decay, hollowed cavities, internal growth, and the loss of structural limbs, these trees continue to stand tall—enduring, adapting, and weathering even the fiercest storms. They are living witnesses to time, strength, and survival.

Veteran trees are not just trees—they are entire ecosystems. The habitats they provide are rich, irreplaceable, and vital to the delicate balance of our natural world.

Yet too often, I’ve seen trees like these removed from residential spaces, labelled as “too risky” to keep. In doing so, we risk far more than we realise. If we continue to lose these ancient giants without allowing new ones to take their place, we are quietly erasing a legacy that cannot be quickly restored.

Protecting them means protecting the future of our landscapes, our wildlife, and our connection to nature itself.

Working on the Wroxham Road, Sprowston yesterday under a highways permit and traffic management to ensure safety and legal compliance. We had to raise and reduce a few trees to ensure clearances were met and we sadly had to remove a few trees due to significant basal decay that could have posed a significant risk to queuing cars waiting to join the NDR.

Planting up a 70 degree embankment today. 183 trees have gone in and will eventually shroud the agricultural building by softening the landscape vista.

As our business has expanded with services we needed to update our website…. So instead of adding a new page we’ve had a whole site revamp!

Don’t forget we’re one of only a couple of tree companies in Norfolk that have all staff employed full time.

We can offer planting, tree surgery and consultancy through to expert witness. We can also carry out highly accurate tree plotting to assist with most arboreal projects.

“With such an experienced team of professional tree surgeons, we are able to get jobs completed cost effectively and with minimal disruption to our clients” Ian Flatters, Director Target Trees
