Here’s one of the Hummingbirds that visit us for food/drink ❤️💚 Photos aren’t super because the millisecond I move…off it goes! Very territorial, inquisitive and magical. Also I’m obsessed so I’ll be outside again for better photos soon 😂

The rhythm of the water, fresh air and quiet moments help clear my head and slow things down. Every paddle works my core, arms, legs and balance while giving me a workout that doesn’t feel like a workout (my kind of workout) and purely being surrounded by nature reminds me to be present, grateful and appreciate the simple moments 🙏🏻

Ever hugged a tree? 🌳🤗

I do almost everyday!! Not just because trees make excellent, silent friends but because science backs it😄

Spending time around trees and other natural environments has been linked with lower stress, reduced feelings of anxiety, improved mood and even lower heart rate and blood pressure 🌿 Research on forest bathing suggests that simply being around trees can help our bodies shift into a more relaxed state (which is why I am a certified forest bathing guide) 🌳

Hugging a tree isn’t a magical cure all but that close connection with nature can be a wonderful reminder to slow down, breathe deeply and get out of our heads for a moment.

So I’m making a challenge:

🌳 Find a tree
🤗 Give it a hug
🌬️ Take 3 slow breaths
😊 Thank it for all the oxygen, shade, beauty and life it supports and sustains in world
🌲 Stay longer for full immersion

Bonus points if someone walks by and gives you that “what are they doing?” look! 😂

A beautiful manifesting lunch in Fort Mill, SC, which I was honoured to create some floral arrangements for.

Each arrangement was raffled off at the end of the event, allowing the flowers to continue bringing joy and beauty long after the lunch had finished.

It was such a pleasure to be part of a group of very special women all helping each other in business and making dreams come true 💐

Really enjoyed bringing a colourful flower bar to a local business yesterday.

There’s something so lovely about watching customers choose their favourite stems and create their own beautiful bouquets.

This one pop-up has already led to three more bookings over the next few weeks!

I garden for wildlife 🐝🦋🌿

I 💯 love every part of gardening from the process, the learning, the surprises to every beautiful outcome that comes from working so closely with the natural world.

But a garden without wildlife? 🙁 Without an abundance of insects (yes, even the naughty ones), without the sheer joy of watching other species discovering, feeding, sheltering and thriving among the plants? That just isn’t a garden to me.

For me, a truly beautiful garden is one that’s alive with movement, sound, insects, birds, pollinators and all the little creatures that make it an ecosystem rather than simply a collection of plants 🙏🏻

Because the best garden isn’t just one we enjoy~ it’s one we share 🌱🐞🕷️🦋🐦
