A stunning way to add character to a new build extension is by incorporating Art Deco inspired heritage style.

This South West London home features a glazed screen across the rear, combining aluminium heritage French doors with fixed frame windows, divided with horizontal bars to match the look of traditional steel framed doors and windows.

The modern thermally broken aluminium frames combine the period look with the latest in modern security, thermal efficiency and weather protection and can also be included with bifold doors, sliding doors, windows and internal glazing systems.

Hay Barn was designed to respect the rural plot of land the home was built on whilst delivering on a modern and contemporary space for the owners to enjoy.

To make the most of the outstanding surrounding views, IDSystems worked with the homeowners to achieve their goal for seamless living, by installing theEDGE 2.0 sliding door featuring a flush finish on the track, whilst large picture windows perfectly frame the countryside views.

With clever design, stunning architectural glazing can be equally at home on heritage projects as it is with more contemporary builds.

This stylish modern home in Suffolk is built around an old stable block and a folly that dates back to the 1830s.

A glass link connects the old and the new, whilst three sets of IDSystems pocket sliding doors provide a connection between inside and out.

The end result is a home that is filled full of natural light, whilst being sympathetic to the historic structures of the site.

A Yorkshire self built home with defining character and contemporary architectural design.

To work alongside the stunning home layout, the architects design called for heritage style open corner bifold doors to connect the house and garden and our SF75eco was the perfect choice.

The slender aluminium frames are complemented by horizontal bars to provide the Art Deco look of traditional steel doors when closed, but when open provide a stunning post-free corner and panoramic views of the patio and garden.

The bifold doors are matched with heritage style aluminium windows and internal glazing, combining traditional style with the latest in high-performance aluminium glazing performance.
