Great to be helping out a pal in France with a Full deck rebuild, start to finish. 🛠️

Out with the old, rotten decking, in with a solid new joist frame and fresh boards across the whole terrace, garage side and side deck included. What was a bare, sloped patch of ground is now a finished space ready to use.

Fencing, groundworks and decking, all handled end to end.

Big one in Cambridge! 🦾

This was a full external works package, start to finish. We stripped the whole site back, brought it up to spec, and handed over a space that’s ready for the NHS to take over providing support for Mental Health and Eating Disorders.

What we got through:
🏗️ Full site strip and import of 250 tonnes of topsoil, seeded with wildflower
🧱 Structural internal pads for steel
🚧 New boundary close board and acoustic fencing
🌱 Turfing, paving and external landscaping
🚲 Bike shelter and foundations
♿ Access ramp
🛤️ New pathways
🧨 Demolition of the existing chimney

New fencing job wrapped up over in Ipswich and we’re chuffed with how this one came together.

A security canine training facility, secured end to end. The site needed proper containment for working dogs, so nothing about this was off the shelf.

Here’s what we put in:

🐕 Dedicated security dog training zones
💦 Around-water training and agility areas
🔩 1.8m profile mesh fencing on 2.7m posts
📏 Over 200 linear metres of fence line
🚪 3 sets of gates

Profile mesh is the right call for a job like this. Strong, clean lines, and it holds up to dogs that genuinely test it. Posts set deep, gates hung square, the lot.

THREE! 3️⃣

3 years in the game!

Another year ticked off — and what a year it’s been. Loads of growth, new challenges, and plenty of proud moments along the way. 🥹

From a lightbulb moment in the pub over a cold one, with something I’ve always loved… to now delivering some seriously rewarding projects across the commercial, educational, and health sectors.

When this all started, I had big goals — and honestly, we’re smashing through them. This past year’s been a whirlwind of wins, lessons, and navigating a pretty tough market. 🕺

We’ve continued to invest heavily too — new kit, vehicles, plant, and more on the way. Always pushing forward.

The commercial side of the business is flying, and the relationships we’ve built just keep getting stronger. I’m especially proud of the team behind it all. Bringing in a QS and an Operations Assistant was a bold move, but absolutely the right one. 👀

A massive thank you to all our clients, suppliers, and everyone in the GroundCore team — none of this happens without you. 🍻

We’re currently on site working alongside the NHS delivering a full package of works to create a new space within their Mental Health & Eating Disorder Day Centre Clinic, including a brand new outdoor space.

This project includes everything:

• Drainage
• Paving
• Boundary & internal fencing
• Structural works
• Access ramps
• Soft Landscaping
• Demolition
