We've used a lot of Raj blend natural sandstone this year and it's not hard to see why.
The colours and texture worked perfectly on this project we've just completed in Brooke and the tumbled sett edging just finishes it off nicely.

From the mountains of Egypt to a back garden in the heart of Norwich this Galala tumbled Limestone has brought this area to life.
It's hard to believe that this area started off as an old concrete garage floor.
Oak sleepers have been used to form the raised beds and panda gravel has been used around the edges of the patio.
We also installed a 5 foot picket fence panel to give the area some privacy without blocking out the sunlight.

Facebook has just given me a little nudge to remind me I haven't posted for a while but we've been incredibly busy and social media has never been my strong point.
So here's a little glimpse of what we've been up to recently, the steps are from a completed job ( I'll hopefully get a proper post out about that one over the weekend) and the second picture is of an ongoing project in Brooke.

Lovely little natural stone patio we've just completed in Hethersett.
Again we've used Strata Stones Ltd Raj as it's blend of neutral colours really brightens up an area and has a real natural warmth to it .
Norfolk tumbled setts have been used as a border to compliment the stone.

Even after all these years I never get bored with doing this for a living mainly because no two jobs are ever the same.
This project we've just finished in Norwich south is in total contrast to the limestone job we finished earlier in the week and has more of a cottage garden feel to it.
New dwarf walls, replace old steps, new steps around summer house and extend the existing natural stone patio.
Patio extension and risers on the steps have been surfaced using Strata Stones Raj blend natural sandstone .
Patio has been edged using the same bricks as we used on the walls and steps to bring the project together as a whole.

I think I may have found another product to go on my list of favourites.
This project we've just completed in the NR3 area of Norwich has been paved using Egyptian limestone with a matching brick border.
The light tones give the area a lovely warm feeling, in a way that only a natural stone product can.

I've been in the paving game since 1989 and it still feels really special to get messages like this from a customer.
I like to think we go the extra mile and feedback like this proves to me it's definitely worth it.

A little taster of an ongoing project we're working on in Norwich atm.

I'm going to have to get a better camera as the pictures of this job we've just completed in Dereham doesn't do the stone justice.
We used Strata Stones Amalfi sandstone in grey on this project, with all the edging bricks cut from whole slabs to make sure they matched .
The Amalfi stone is a tumbled product so all the edges are rounded off and it's a far smoother surface than the regular sandstone.
A lot of work and an awful lot of cutting but definitely worth it.
