The importance of thorough testing ⚡️

After carrying out the usual ring final tests on an EICR (6 year old installation) we were unable to obtain an Rn reading but we got an R1 & R2. Immediately, this signalled to us that there may be a lose termination somewhere along the circuit. However, the previous installation certificate showed an RN reading for sign off 😶.

After hours of taking up floors & continuity tests with the customer present, we narrowed it down & found this screw mashed through the neutral.

New leg pulled in and the old removed. Another happy customer 👏🏻
