Been abit quiet recently on the socials, we have two on going projects at the moment. Both locally based in Poringland!

One a full rewire of a property and will bring a completion post when completed. 👍

Second a new kitchen install which is now coming along nicely, more photos to come when we go back to finish off the works. 👀

Something abit different for DH Electrical, Fire and Security today.

Being an ex firefighter i'm still finding it's very much in my blood today after leaving many years ago. Given half the chance and a clean run at it, I would love to do it all over again - "it's the best job in the world!" So still means alot to do something good like this and give back to help others where I can.

Combining this and one of my hobbies naturally saw us take part in The Great Norfolk Ride out!

This was to raise donations for The Firefighters Charity and Norfolk Blood Bikes, two great charities which help people when ever in need.

Call out earlier on to a social housing building in diss via an building management company today.

Quick response and communial toilet lighting now back up and running after replacing this faulty emergency light fitting for them, happy tenants and happy customer. ⚡️👍

Not just big jobs, we can accommodate small jobs too - even call outs! 👀

Today's fuseboard change for a returning customer 👍

New board supplied and fitted and tail upgrade with a new A type RCD fitted to the second fuseboard bringing this installation up to date 🫡.

All set now for the storage battery installation to go in! 🔋⚡️

Abit of out of hours repair works, 3x tools in for repair for our friends over at MCH Landscaping 👍.

All 3 required minor repair works keeping the applicances in a safe usable condition and keeping the wheels of business turning 💪.

Not just big installation jobs, but we're happy to help with the little ones too!!

Existing track cable light fitting upgrade 👀

New customer in Norwich requested to add new lights to the track fitting and upgrade from Halogen to Led in their appartment.

I added 2x new sourced light fittings and converted the original halogen lamps to led with new led drivers replacing the original transformers. Due to the drivers being bigger, I also fabricated new led driver housings to match the existing light fitting. 💡👌

First part completed on this period property kitchen revamp in Starston near Harleston for a repeat customer and friend of ours 🏠.

After a few bits of ropey electrics had been discovered, these were removed and made safe. We then installed a fresh new dedicated Kitchen socket ring main, extra points added and shiney new decorative brushed nickel faceplates with some outlets having the added bonus of USB and USB-C sockets too. (This was after the original kitchen only had two double sockets to serve the whole kitchen work space areas) 😮.

We then part rewired the old ropey cooker supply and added the missing cooker isolator to the circuit along with a new dedicated freezer circuit to minimise any risk of any food loss in an event of an electrical fault. ❄️

All powered up and tested. now all ready for making good / tiling to begin! Looking forward to seeing the completed project here soon. 😁👍
