We recently took on a project that started as a completely blank canvas. The existing space consisted of a MOT sub-base, an outdated paving area, and an old conservatory base.
The client wanted to transform this uninspiring yard into a functional, modern, and beautiful multi-zone garden.
We completely redesigned and reconstructed the area from the ground up.
Here is how we turned this blank canvas into the ultimate outdoor living space:
Premium Indian Stone Patio & Pathways: We laid a gorgeous, full grey Indian sandstone patio as the main entertaining area. To give it a sharp, modern finish, we framed the entire patio with a striking charcoal block edging. We also extended this seamless look down the side of the house with a matching pathway leading to the front.
Low-Maintenance Artificial Turf: Flanking both sides of the main walkway, we installed premium artificial grass. This provides a vibrant, lush green look all year round without the hassle of mowing or mud.
Dedicated Pergola Feature: The artificial grass leads seamlessly to a beautifully paved pergola area, creating the perfect cozy corner for outdoor dining or relaxing.
Summer House / Games Room Foundation: In the far left corner, we excavated and poured a heavy-duty, large concrete slab. This solid foundation is perfectly leveled and fully prepared to house a future summer room or games room.
Decorative Stone & Drainage: To add texture and ensure excellent drainage around the new structures, we integrated a clean Cotswold gravel trap alongside a beautifully finished decorative stone area.
By combining premium grey Indian stone with ultra-realistic artificial turf and smart zoning, we have maximized every square inch of this garden. It is now a stylish, low-maintenance haven perfect for entertaining, relaxing, and future garden rooms!
