A good days prep at the property in Titchmarsh today, shower area primed and tanked, remaining wall surfaces primed and floor boarded with 6mm cement board ready to prime prior to laying the floor later this week.

I’m pleased to say two cats own this property and everything in it.

Lola is a rescue cat from Spain 🇪🇸 (Russian Blue) but her English is limited so she doesn’t say too much.

Charlie is a ginger tuxedo Tom and is quite a chatty cat but couldn’t stop as he was far too busy hunting voles, squirrels and sheep.

I will post photos of them both when the time better suits them.

This tiny en-suite at a property in Titchmarsh is my job for next week. Thanks to the clever clogs at Topps Tiles Wellingborough who convinced the customer a small area looks better with hoofing great 600mm x 1,200mm tiles on the walls and floors!!!!! 🥵

Monday is prep day and I’ll be tanking the enclosure area priming the walls and cement boarding the floor.

Then I’ll be fighting huge tiles with no room to move for the rest of the week running up and down two flights of stairs to cut them. 🫣

The customer has chosen brushed brass trim to compliment the bathroom fittings and it’ll all be grouted with a colour matching Epoxy resin grout.

The room will be boarded out and ready to prep and tile by the time I get there.

This Thursday I tile this New build kitchen backsplash at a property in Wellingborough.
It’ll be nice to do after a run of Large floors.
The tile is a small profile 75mm x 150mm from memory, the trim Brushed silver and a decision is yet to be made with regard a grout colour.

Lots of prep required for this old Wetroom and the customer replaced the floorboards and set the tray after I took down the tiles.

It’s starting to come together nicely and I hope to complete the wall tiles tomorrow.

Thursday the floor will be tiled and Friday everything grouted ready for the customer to start final fixing.
