As part of the Government’s Affordable Warmth or Home Heating Carbon Reduction Obligation (HHCRO) Scheme to reduce heating bills, Plumb-Line is working with Vaillant, the UK’s number one heating manufacturer, to help people with lower incomes to have warm and efficiently-heated homes. This Government scheme is helping people on low incomes by replacing or repairing, old, broken and inefficient boilers free of charge. To be eligible for the scheme, you need to live in your own or a privately rented property, have an old, broken or inefficient heating system and receive certain benefits. For example, State Pension Credit or Child Tax Credit with relevant income below £15,860. Alternatively, if you receive a specific combination of benefits then you may also be eligible. All repairs and replacements are subject to surveys, which will be completed free of charge and evidence of the benefits received will need to be provided at the time of the survey. Awards
