🏗️ Work is underway on our Leicester extension project.

The team are currently carrying out the prep work for the new foundations, removing the existing structures, decking and old foundations to get the site ready for the next stage.

A lot has already changed in just a few days, and this is only the beginning.

Next up, groundwork and foundations as the new extension starts to take shape.

A quick briefing before work begins on our latest Leicester project 🏗️

Stan is running through the initial plans with the team from his conversations with the client, including safely removing the existing windows and doors so they can be reused within the new extension.

There’s also drainage work to consider, with the existing manhole and inspection chamber needing to be relocated to accommodate the new layout and bathroom.

This is just an initial site briefing from memory. Once work begins, we’ll be going into the technical details, drawings and specifications with the team before each stage is carried out.

🏗️ New Project in Leicester

We’re getting started on a new 37m² single storey rear extension, creating a much larger kitchen and dining space and completely transforming the back of this home.

Cambridge Extension Update 🏡🔨

We’re now moving onto the internal stages — getting the plasterboard on, squaring everything up and starting to bring the new space together.

This is also a first for us — progressing the internal finish before the final doors, roof elements and windows arrive. Rather than let that hold the project up, we’ve created temporary protection so work can continue safely while we wait for the final components.

Still plenty happening behind the scenes, with the final project update coming in around 1.5–2 weeks once everything comes together. 👀
