🚶‍♂️TAKING STRIDES FOR CHANGE: JOIN OUR 25-MILE CHARITY CHALLENGE🚶‍♀️

On 25th September, the Briggs & Forrester Living South Team, alongside members of our valued supply chain, will be taking on an incredible challenge to raise funds for two fantastic charities, The Wingate Centre and the Construction Youth Trust. They will be walking 25 miles from Beachy Head to Brighton along the South Downs, conquering over 3,000 feet of elevation in what promises to be a tough but rewarding day.

We are proud to announce Briggs & Forrester Group have achieved our first RoSPA Order of Distinction Award, following an incredible 15 years of consecutive RoSPA Gold Awards.

This significant milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health & safety across all our offices and project sites. It is a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and safety-first culture embraced by our teams every day.

2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA Awards, which began as a small event to recognise the achievements of companies prioritising the safety of workers in UK, and has now grown into the biggest and most prestigious health and safety awards programme in the world, with the 2026 awards attracting 2,000 different entries from nearly 60 countries.

In receiving a RoSPA Award Briggs & Forrester Group are part of a proud legacy of organisations dedicated to keeping workers and the public safe.

⚙️⚡NORTHERN REGION COMPLETES MEP WORKS TO WHITEHALL RIVERSIDE⚡⚙️

Briggs & Forrester Northern Region have successfully delivered the full MEPH works at Whitehall Riverside, a landmark £140m build-to-rent development in Leeds, in partnership with Bowmer + Kirkland for Legal & General and Glenbrook.

Securing Gateway 3 approval as part of the Building Safety Act is a major milestone for the development and reflects the coordinated efforts and full compliance between all companies involved throughout the build.
The scheme comprises two 18-storey towers and 500 apartments, featuring a fully electric, low carbon heating strategy, designed to achieve BREEAM Excellent and HQM Level 4, and predicted to generate ~20% less CO₂ than current Building Regulations.

As one of the largest completed BTR schemes in Leeds, Whitehall Riverside reflects our growing expertise in delivering large-scale, sustainability-led residential developments.

🥾⛰️ TEAM BRIGGS & FORRESTER TAKE ON SNOWDON : HIKE FOR HARRY⛰️🥾

On Saturday 26th September, the Briggs & Forrester Midlands team will be heading to Wales to hike Snowdon, raising money for local charity Help Harry Help Others. This challenge isn’t just about reaching the summit — it’s about making a real difference.

Every step we take helps raise funds for the cancer drop-in centre at Help Harry Help Others in Sheldon. By sponsoring our hike, you're not only cheering us on but directly contributing to a cause that matters. No amount is too small — every donation helps us get closer to our goal.

Whilst battling an inoperable brain tumour, Harry Moseley was inspired to make a difference to all people with brain cancer and began making and selling bracelets to raise money. Harry sold bracelets to friends, family, schools and businesses raising thousands to support people living with cancer.

After Harry sadly passed away aged just 11 years old, his mother Georgie Moseley realised more support for families was needed in the community and therefore started up the drop-in cancer support centre. They now offer over 20 services on site helping with emotional, practical, financial support and advice.

HHHO does not receive any government funding, so it relies on the support of the community to keep the day centre running!

This year marks an incredible milestone as Martin Harris celebrates 25 years with Briggs & Forrester Special Projects. From joining as a young apprentice to becoming the highly respected Contracts Manager he is today, Martin's journey is a testament to hard work, dedication and expertise.

Over the years, he has played a key role in delivering some of our most challenging projects, earning the admiration of colleagues across the business for his commitment, determination and unwavering focus on getting the job done right.

Thank you, Martin, for 25 years of service, leadership and dedication. Here's to this remarkable achievement and many more successes ahead.

⛳ PLAYING FOR PURPOSE ⛳

Briggs & Forrester Living was proud to attend and sponsor a hole at the JJ Rhatigan Annual Charity Golf Day. ⛳

The day raised valuable funds for Ashford Place, a London-based charity dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness, social isolation and other life challenges. We're honoured to have played a small part in supporting such meaningful work.

🔌 POWER ON FOR MINERVA HOUSE 🔌

A fantastic milestone achieved on the Minerva House project for the Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services team, working in partnership with Multiplex.

The successful power on of the project last month was completed safely and in line with programme, marking a significant step forward and the start of commissioning activities. Reaching this milestone was the result of weeks of careful planning, collaboration and hard work from everyone involved.

To recognise the achievement, Multiplex presented the team with a unique memento: a piece of armoured cable mounted with a commemorative plaque. The gesture was made even more special by a personal thank you and congratulations from the Project Lead.

A great achievement and a testament to the dedication of everyone involved. Well done all! 👏

That's why we were delighted to support the Tempeo Foundation in funding 80 charity beneficiaries to attend our Briggs & Forrester Family Day at Northampton's Cinch County Cricket Ground.

Part of the Tempeo Foundation's amazing charitable work involves a sponsored seat programme to help children who might never otherwise have had the chance to attend a live sporting event, opening up opportunities for individuals, families and communities to enjoy unforgettable days out.

A huge congratulations to George West on completing his End Point Assessment (EPA), marking the successful completion of his apprenticeship with Briggs & Forrester Special Projects. 👏

George's dedication, hard work and commitment have paid off, and we're proud to see him progress into his chosen construction pathway as an Assistant Project Manager.

Apprenticeships provide a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, gain hands-on experience and build rewarding careers, and George's achievement is a great example of this in action.
