It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and forget to look back at how far you’ve come.
DIGroundworks was just an idea for years and a decision to take a chance, leave the security of full-time employment and build something of my own.
Fast forward to now and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved so far.
I’ve built the DIGroundworks name from the ground up, completed some fantastic projects across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, invested vehicles, equipment and branding, launched a premium website, grown our online presence and, most importantly, built a strong reputation with our customers.
From landscaping and porcelain patios to fencing, drainage, concrete works, foundations, retaining walls and larger groundwork projects, we’re continuing to grow the type and scale of work we take on.
We’re now looking ahead to an even bigger 2027, with future projects already being planned and plenty more ambitions for the business.
Running your own business definitely isn’t easy. There are long days, late nights pricing work, constant investment and plenty of pressure behind the scenes, even days that make you question if this is all worth it - but seeing the business grow makes it all worthwhile.
A massive thank you to every customer who has trusted us with their property, everyone who has recommended or shared our work, and everyone who has supported DIGroundworks so far.
We’re proud of what we’ve built, but this is only the beginning.
