A few pictures from a complex French doorset installation we did a couple of months back. Completion of the flooring alteration was delayed due to the need to source a small quantity of obsolete material to match the existing, and I've not been back nearby again to get final photos, at a time convenient for the client, til now.

This was a challenging project, but very rewarding, and working for some of the best clients I know. I wouldn't take on a project like this for just ANY customer!!
But I'm so SO proud of what we've achieved on this!

*Client is decorating internally themselves to finish*

Large new structural opening in a brick & stone wall over 400mm thick, brick arch, 200+kg solid timber (Accoya) prefinished french doorset with integral sidelights and opening toplight, timber reveal linings with large custom made architrave to match existing, solid timber kitchen alterations, quartz worktop, Karndean flooring alterations, reclaimed original (and carefully matched additional) material...oh, and I nearly forgot - restricted access! 🫣😆👍🏻🎉

Just completed this little dormer recladding project in Kingsthorpe, using the Coastline composite cladding system, and replacing all the associated external soil & waste pipework.

Working around various adverse weather conditions, and additional work arising along the way to add ventilation battening and replace a window, all definitely drew out completion considerably, but got there in the end.

Having a day off, because it's my birthday!
I've received this mug as a birthday gift, with a list of important charge rates, which I'll obviously abide by. 😆👌🏻

I've loved doing this oak staircase upgrade project, just completed on my part before the weekend.

Customer arranging decorating & new carpet over the next couple of weeks, then I'll have fully finished photos to add.

Do you know where your outside stopcock is, and how to use it?
A surprising proportion of inside stopcocks are found to be seized when needed, so it's well worth knowing where your outside one is!

First week back at work, and have done a selection of small maintenance jobs, with a replacement double glazed unit ordered for fitting (hopefully sometime next week.)
Plus measuring up various other jobs for quoting, and getting some materials organised ready for next week. 😁🪚🔨🪛🙌🏻
