A boot & utility room designed for real life by Ian — muddy paws, wet coats and all.

This space brings together in‑frame cabinetry, warm brass details and thoughtful, two-tiered storage to create a calm, organised entry point for busy days coming in and out with the dog.

The bench seating offers the perfect spot for drying off after walks, with deep drawers below for shoes, towels and outdoor essentials. Hooks keep coats and harnesses ready to grab, while the integrated laundry zone makes it easy to wash muddy blankets and freshen up after long countryside adventures.

🖤Bespoke Hand-Finished Black Oak, Crafted for This Home🖤

Two key features shaped this project:

♣ A floating circular breakfast bar
♠ A dropped‑edge dining table

Made to match the home’s existing joinery, we partnered with local master craftsman to hand‑finish and engineer each piece. The breakfast bar required a self‑supporting structure seamlessly integrated into the Algarve Granite worktop — a technical challenge we loved solving.

To finalise the dining table, we brought an oversized version on site so our clients could test height and proportion in real time. With their chairs in place and everyone gathered around, we refined the table together until it felt just right.

We feel these bespoke black oak features complement the cabinetry beautifully — adding depth, warmth and a handcrafted contrast to the soft in‑frame palette.

This is mine now...🐾

We created this bespoke shoe storage unit in our clients bay window space as a part of a larger modern kitchen renovation project. Pleased to report the cat seems very happy with it!

Our client wanted to move their kitchen from the back of their home, to the front, whilst opening up the entrance hallway. The bay window was a great spot to convert into where you sit and take your shoes on and off within a sturdy soft close drawer system - although you may have to work around a sleeping cat!
