Light and ceiling design, considered as one.

Through our collaboration with Delta Light, lighting can be seamlessly integrated into Hunter Douglas Architectural ceiling systems, giving architects greater freedom to create interiors where illumination forms part of the overall design.

The combination brings together architectural ceiling solutions and contemporary lighting, helping to achieve clean lines, considered detailing and a cohesive finish across the space.

Because when lighting is integrated from the outset, it becomes part of the architecture rather than simply an addition to it.

Comfort starts at ceiling level.

HeartFelt® Linear PareauLux brings the distinctive appearance of HeartFelt® together with climate ceiling technology, creating a solution that contributes to both the design and comfort of an interior.

Using radiant heating and cooling, the system helps create a comfortable indoor environment while retaining the clean linear aesthetic and acoustic qualities associated with HeartFelt®.

For architects and designers, it means building performance doesn’t have to come at the expense of creative freedom – technical functions can become an integrated part of the ceiling design.

There’s something distinctive about bringing natural wood into an interior.

Derako® wood ceiling and wall systems introduce warmth, texture and natural variation, providing an architectural contrast to the harder surfaces often found within contemporary commercial spaces.

From linear and grill systems to different wood species, dimensions and finishes, the range gives architects considerable freedom to use wood as an integral part of the interior design.

The result can be understated or expressive – but always retains the individual character that comes from working with a natural material.

Metal ceilings offer far more than a single aesthetic.

With Luxalon® ceiling systems, colour, finish, profile and configuration can all become part of the architectural concept – giving designers the freedom to create anything from subtle, refined surfaces to bold statement ceilings.

Different profiles can introduce rhythm and depth, while a broad choice of finishes provides further opportunities to complement materials and colours used throughout the wider interior.

Combine that design versatility with the durability and performance of metal and you have a ceiling solution suited to a wide variety of commercial environments.

Airport ceilings need to perform long after installation.

In busy terminal environments, ongoing maintenance and access to services are important considerations from the earliest stages of ceiling specification.

Hunter Douglas Architectural ceiling systems combine considered design with practical functionality, with solutions that can provide access to the plenum and building services while supporting the demands of high-traffic airport environments.

With metal, wood and felt options available, architects can balance these practical requirements with the design identity of each space – from check-in and circulation areas to lounges and passenger facilities.

At Les 3 Fontaines shopping centre in Cergy-Pontoise, France, Derako® solid wood ceiling systems were used across both interior and exterior spaces as part of the centre’s transformation.

American Yellow Pine with a coloured varnish finish brings warmth and natural character to the scheme, while varying panel widths create a dynamic linear effect across the ceiling.

Used within the food court and extending into external areas, the system helps establish a consistent architectural language while responding to the different requirements of each environment.

A striking example of how wood ceiling design can connect spaces and become a defining part of a wider architectural concept.

Can ceiling design help create a more connected workplace?

At Agristo’s new office in Belgium, architects OYO set out to create a people-oriented environment that encourages movement, interaction and connection across different spaces.

HeartFelt® Baffles were selected alongside expanded metal ceiling solutions to help shape this distinctive workplace, bringing softness, texture and visual rhythm to the interior.

It’s a great example of how HeartFelt® Baffles can become an integral part of the wider architectural concept – helping to give spaces their own character while contributing to a cohesive design throughout.

Ceiling design doesn’t have to follow a uniform pattern.

With HeartFelt® Baffles, varying heights, depths and configurations give architects the freedom to create distinctive ceiling landscapes that introduce rhythm, movement and visual interest to an interior.

The modular felt system can be used to define areas, complement architectural features or create a strong design statement overhead – while also delivering the acoustic benefits associated with the HeartFelt® range.

From subtle variations to more expressive ceiling designs, HeartFelt® Baffles provide the flexibility to make each space individual.
