Bicester Motion

This week we’ve commenced works on site at Bicester Motion, carrying out the formation of a new bellmouth and extending the existing roadway.

The works form part of the wider traffic management improvements across the site. We are also working trackside carrying out ground maintenance alongside general building maintenance being carried out throughout the estate.

This week we have commenced works on site to enhance the school’s landscaping and security, with a focus on improving safety and safeguarding for pupils and staff.

Summer 2026

This summer we’ve taken on a number of larger-scale projects compared to other years. We have delivered a range refurbishment, maintenance and upgrade projects in 12+ schools alongside our other commercial projects.

We thoroughly enjoy working in schools and being part of projects that make a difference to the buildings, the staff & pupils using them.

We’re proud of the relationships we’ve developed with many of the schools we work with, some now trusting us as their go-to contractor for ongoing maintenance and refurbishment works.

Looking ahead to autumn, we have some exciting projects commencing, including works at Bicester Motion, a local authority extension, demolition works for Bidwells, safeguarding & security works at Yardley Hastings School, essential H&S works at Crick Primary.

Harpole Primary | 4 WC’s Completed

Over the summer, we redesigned and refurbished 2x girls and 2x boys toilets.

The WC’s have been modernised by upgrading ventilation, lighting and heating. Taps are now censored, we removed urinals in the boys opting for cubicles instead.

A well needed upgrade that was focused on improving the facilities & functionality for the school.

We have been consistently on site at Barry Road throughout the summer, carrying out a wide range of improvements and upgrades across the school.

We’ve replaced over 200 existing light fittings with energy-efficient LED lighting. This upgrade will help reduce the school’s ongoing energy consumption, as well as lowering maintenance costs in the long term.

Carried out extensive safeguarding works to the pre-school, alongside a range of additional upgrades including a new Paxton entry system, data cabling, line marking and making good. Ensuring the site is safe & secure.

In addition, we’ve refurbished a number of classrooms, creating fresh, improved spaces ready for the new school year.

📍Harpole Primary School

Work's are well underway refurbishing 2x girls WC & 2x boys WC.

In year 1 boys toilets we have removed the urinals completely, making more space for us to remodel the toilets and increase cubicle capacity.

Although it looks like we still have a lot of work to do, works are on target to be completed and ready for the new autumn term in September.

📍The Bramptons Primary

We have completed our project at The Bramptons Primary, one week ahead of the program.

In just over 4 weeks we have fully refurbished the school entrance, two offices, 4 classrooms, staff room & school hall.

Along with internal works we have dealt with various damp issues, repointed the rear elevation wall, landscaping, enhanced security and safeguarding around the school, adding security fencing and gates as well as additional door entry systems.

Works were carried out in house except for the flooring which was completed by our trusted subcontractor E.F.E Flooring.

Alongside these works we are completing door entry system works to the science block to improve security & accessibility.

We are currently renovating 2 x Boys & 2 x Girls WC’s at the school.

The plumbing 1st fix commences tomorrow and the aim is to have the IPS panels in week commencing 10th August so the project is currently a head of schedule.
