We are seeing a rise in un-vented hot water cylinder services in hard water areas, build up of lime scale on the inside of your hot water cylinder over just a year can have a severe impact on how long it will take to replenish your hot water store, consequently using more energy than it should.

Boiler Service should be on your to-do list each and every year
If not why not?

An unsafe gas appliance has the potential to lead to gas leaks, fires and explosions, and carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning, but these are all risks which can be avoided by following some simple gas safety advice.

1 ) Get an annual gas safety check
2 ) Find a Gas Safe registered engineer
3 ) Check your engineer’s Gas Safe ID card
4 ) Look out for gas appliance warning signs
5 ) Know the signs of CO poisoning
6 ) Buy an audible CO alarm marked EN 50291
7 ) Ensure adequate ventilation
8 ) Only use gas appliances for their intended purpose

George has been busy this morning on a recent annual Oil boiler service for one of our lovely clients 😁

A snug fit some might say, George and Connor thought so too!

A recent oil combi boiler replacement fitted in Thruxton!

The old Worcester was on its last legs!

We installed a new Grant UK Vortex Pro in its place, additionally upgrading to a Hive thermostat + a Grant Mag One magnetic filter 👏

We are super happy with the outcome of our latest commercial project😊

Massive congratulations to all our lads for completing on our latest project in warminster 👏

Our client required a out with the old and in with the new package plantroom which was installed in a tight location!

We do love a challenge!

The bits of kit installed are as follows 😎

- New Cold Main
- Dewey Waters Ltd. Cold water break tank
- Wilo UK booster set
- BWT UK Water Softener + Power Mag
- Adveco unvented Cylinder
- Hot water return bronze pump
- Trace heating for external pipework.

All of this installed by our very own team!

AJK Services were commissioned to repair a district water main and carry out extensive repairs to the iron infrastructure. The project also included the team being required to restore the on-site boilers, to ensure they were back in use to provide heating and hot water at this large establishment.

The lads have recently completed a project replacing gas radiant heating. The work required included removal of the current radiant heating, and modification of the gas pipe installation to accommodate a new type of heaters. Our team were also able to revise the electrical and controls strategy to change the operational use of the heaters, in line with economical saving on the energy costs.
